Just a new song using the power of the library "Spitfire Solo Violin" it's a pretty good library, hard to use but you can get some very realistic violin with it !

I used this song as the theme for a major villain in my D&D campaign - brutalized and abused by a steampunk dictatorship, he built a pocket dimension outside of time out of cogs and magic. He then made marvelous clockwork creations and sent them back in time to lure important historical figures into his timeless tower and have them fight for the entertainment of the rich in an arena of twisting gears, all in hopes that pulling them out of time would change the future, so the world that hurt him would never exist. When this artificer plucked the party from the timeline, when they discovered what they would have to sacrifice to escape, and when they fought and died facing a massive clockwork dragon, this song was playing.

@@unrulybot1352 I found myself back on this video while making plans to bring this character back for the party's upcoming boss fight, and I figured I'd dig out the speech he gave after drawing the party into his tower, the speech to which I first played this song. “And so it begins. Finally, our “heroes” have come… led here by a perfectly beguiling construct of my own design…hailing from the tail end of the 31st century. You’ve already seen some of their exploits - fighting demons, treating with archfey, proving their valour to the Ancient, doing battle with one of the three Champions of Oblivion, crossing through the chaos of Air, and fighting the Forsaken itself. What a thrill. In their future, they may have gone on to free Lith Myathar from the grip of the Iron Lord’s champion. They may have slain the Ember Dawn, preventing her centuries of terror and blood. They may have travelled to the final chain and saved it from destruction. “What noble heroes!” You might think, buying into propaganda. Because with me, you have also seen what else they have done. The things history conveniently forgot. But I am a champion of truth! These PEOPLE [angrily] are not worthy of the accolades they will earn themselves. And I am here to finally see justice done. [pause] All of you, the elite, the blessed, the brilliant. You have all found your way here, to me, to my home, to the Arena of the Lost. You have come to witness the deaths of heroes. You have come to see my good work - and to see me defy the will of the gods themselves - for I am Cornelius Giles; I am the destruction of time. This is justice. Let the games begin.”

Time- a thing so precious, yet so cruel. All of us are bound to the forever-ticking hands of the clock that is life. Our hearts reflect the ominous ticking of the seconds as they go by, taking us closer and closer to our inevitable demise. The rhythm of our stride, clicking, clacking, tocking on- marks the intervals of life as they pass away, never to be seen again. The clock is always within you. You may be lucky enough to evade the slowing ticks of time once or twice... but you cannot run from your eventual end. Time has something in store for all of us, a specific moment set out for our hearts and feet to stop ticking, never to be rewound by the hands of man. For time bargains with no soul- From time, there is no escape.

The woman slowly entered her brother’s lab, a room in the basement of their family’s manor. She took note of the faint odor present, the smell of metal and oil one might expect of a watchmakers workshop. She found her brother hunched over his desk, just as he had been when she left him the previous night. “Oh, you fool,” she exclaimed, “Have you gotten any sleep at all?” Her brother turned around, seemingly surprised by the disruption. “Of course I haven’t, sister. My work is far too important.” She cautiously walked into the workshop, approaching her brother’s seat. “And when was the last time you did sleep? I haven’t seen you leave your desk for more than a half hour, much less leave this room.” Her brother wearily sat back, rubbing his eyes. “Two days ago? No, no. If you’re here, then it must be morn. That’d make it three days. “What is it you’re doing here, brother? What could be so important that you’ll barely eat, let alone sleep?” Her brother slowly stood up, sighing as his muscles stretched and joints popped. Once he had done so, he turned to face his sister. “A chance, dear sister. A chance to fix everything.” He then turned back to his desk, and picked up an ornate pocket watch, the fruit of his ceaseless labor. The device hung from a golden chain, and its case was decorated with swirling patterns of gold and copper and bronze, each design passing seamlessly into the next. The face of the watch was no less grand, with hands of finely shaped silver displayed against a backdrop of mahogany, with roman numerals etched into the wood, then inlayed with pearl, all held behind a near-invisible pane of glass. Within the ring of wood, the watch’s mechanisms were visible behind a second pane of glass, a masterful creation of interlocking gears. And at the center of it all was a flawless diamond, carefully held so that it was easily visible, and yet would not disrupt the delicate mechanisms. Altogether, it was a masterwork worthy of royalty, or perhaps even worthy of the divine. “What is it?” asked his sister, confused as to how this device, beautiful as it was, could fix anything. Her brother did not answer at first, instead walking out of the room and up the stairs. As his sister followed, he began to speak. “I never told you the whole story of what happened on that fateful day, thirteen years ago.” “What do you mean?” asked his sister, confused. “You told me that you were at the university when that dreadful spell was cast. That you had to flee afterword, in fear of being blamed.” “And that’s where I lied.” replied her brother. “I fled, because I was to blame.” His sister gasped, but otherwise remained silent as he began to tell the tale. “I was a member of a small group at the university. A group that believed that the arcane was only the surface of what was possible. We pooled our resources and influence to acquire ancient tomes and other, darker artifacts of elder times.” He bowed his head as he continued, speak softly. “In our hubris, we thought that we had discovered a source of power that we could learn, that we could master. We had no idea what we were about to unleash.” “We found a ritual in one of the tomes, an occult rite which we believed would grant us knowledge beyond our wildest dreams. We gathered at dusk on the fateful day, and performed the ritual, and in doing so, unleashed calamity.” “So that’s why you came back home.” She whispered. “You came to hide.” “No.” he replied as he walked into the front room. “I came to find a way to fix my mistake.” He pulled the watch out of his pocket, opening it and looking at its face. “For 3 years, I searched for any means to reverse what we had done, but my search was in vain. I had given up, even planned to turn myself over to those who were hunting me. Then, I found something. An old idea, never truly explored.” He looked up at his sister, with a small grin. “Chronomancy.” Closing the watch, the man sat down. “10 years. I’ve spent the past 10 years researching chronomancy, learning how to manipulate time itself. This watch is the culmination of my efforts, a way to turn back the clock.” Sighing, he continued. “Unfortunately, there’s a price. I can slow time, even stop it for a short while, but every time I do, that time has to come from somewhere. In this case, every time I use these powers, I lose a little bit of my lifespan in the process.” He looked up with a wry smile. “Even with this power, I’m running out of time.” The woman lunged forward, grasping his arm. “Why are you doing this? What do you hope to accomplish?” The man gently removed her hand, holding it in his own. “Like I said, I can go back. I can stop this from ever happening.” Letting her hand go, he moved to the coat rack. “I know it’s a long shot, but I have to do this. If I can find a way to refine my abilities, find a way to return to the past, it will all have been worth it." “But the people! They’ll hunt you!” cried the woman. “They’ll hunt you, and when they catch you, it will all have been in vain!” She descended into sobs as she finished. “That’s where you’re wrong.” replied her brother, a somber smile on his face. “They’ll hunt me, there’s no denying that.” Donning his coat as he opened the door, he turned to face her one last time. “But time will catch me first.”

I can see this play in a losing battle where someone needs to rewind time or send the protagonists back in time to avoid the tragedy occurring presently but the spell to reverse time takes a while to cast so the others must hold off the encroaching danger and they begin to see fragments of past memories that will be erased from their actions to come in the past. And as we all know, messing with time usually comes at a price. Amazing song.

This song fits so well with an overarching antagonist I know from a novel. Not only is his symbol a clock, but even his title is also "Angel of Time". His rank in terms of the world's power system is Sequence 1: Worm of Time, which is one sequence below a True God. The best part is that the novel takes place in an alternate history version of London.

"Well then, let's dance." A girl, seemingly only 10 years old gripped the intricately-designed, spear-sized minute hand in her hand. The Enchanted Minute Hand of Sun. A fight to the death, the man held a nearly identical weapon in his own hand, the Enchanted Minute Hand of Moon. Behind the man was the decapitated head and the body of the girl's best friend. Cruel, the man may seem, but that little girl had it coming. Fallen, was what she went by. Nearly 1,000 deaths to her name, she was a ruthless killing-machine. Unstoppable, or so the world thought. The man was doubted like he was years ago. The Enchanted Minute Hand of Sun, was previously his. He gifted the weapon to the girl long ago, unaware of the monster she truly was. The man used the weapon long enough to know the ins and outs of it, and recreated it himself. The Enchanted Minute Hand of Moon. It was time. He would finally put a stop to this. The friend of Fallen's didn't matter. At least, not anymore. The two Minute Hands clashed. The girl knew offense and defense, but the man knew her better than anything else. This was his moment. He knew that she couldn't catch up to him. She would give in eventually. The two jumped back. Fallen was confident. She defeated legends before, this man would be nothing comparing to some she defeated. She could even see the fear in his gaze. There was no way that she couldn't prevail. Flares of moonlight and flares of sunlight fired out from the roof of the tower they fought upon. As the battle went on, the man grew increasingly exhausted, but Fallen stayed strong. Flares of white light soon joined the dance of sun and moon, as Fallen decided to take this up a notch. Surely, Fallen would be victorious. The man could feel his fear consume him, like a dragon swallowing him whole. He couldn't hold his Minute Hand without shaky hands anymore. He was absolutely exhausted, barely even able to stand on his feet anymore. Fallen kept approaching. The man closed his eyes, maybe he could let that fear be engulfed with rage. All he felt was more and more of it, biting him again and again. Just when he thought he could calm down, that fear struck once again. What was this girl's weakness? What could he exploit? ... Nothing. He could feel his heart beating outside of his chest. He could feel Fallen's Minute Hand stab into his abdomen. "Caught you," the girl's voice echoed. The man opened his eyes, putting his hand on the weapon piercing through him. Hope was lost. He looked at her in the eyes as she tore the weapon out of him. The man fell to his knees. "Time... Will catch me first," he said, placing his hand on the ground. Despite the pain, he pressed on, rising to his knees. His fear would become his fuel. This demon needed to be vanquished. Fallen didn't get to blink, the man's Minute Hand tearing through her again and again until she could hardly stand anymore. The man kicked her off of the tower, jumping down after her. The light-purple string of his own Minute Hand wrapped around his wrist, the weapon stabbed into the roof of the tower. He stopped moments before hitting the ground. The string extended slightly, his feet gently touching the ground as the Minute Hand flew back into his grip. Somehow, Fallen still had the will to continue, to fight. She wasn't yet dead, she tried to get up. The Enchanted Minute Hand of Moon stabbed into her stomach as the man placed his hand onto her face. "Rest, child," he mumbled. And that was the last thing that devil of a child saw. The man grabbed his own Minute Hand, sighing as he stood up straight. "S-She will awake again... B-But hopefully, she will h-have learned her lesson..." He walked off, blood dripping off of the Enchanted Minute Hand of Moon and onto the ground. He stopped, looking over his shoulder at Fallen. "As I said, time will catch me first..." He continued on.

@@TrueLadyEvilChan In fact, this piece of writing was actually my plans for three of my characters in an online roleplay, and well, things tend to get derailed so I decided to write this not only for fun, but so I have something to say where the story could have gone. The friend's name was Eiden, more commonly known as "Risen" (I have not given him a last name), Fallen is Michara Ashbridge (Formerly Michara Elf'for), but is more commonly known as, well, "Fallen", and the man was Tyl Greenwood. Part of what I am trying to represent with the trio is how gray everything is. Was Risen in the right for befriending Fallen and trying to make her a better person, or was Tyl in the right to finally put an end to Fallen? I could give you the full story, but we would pretty much be here for hours as I explain everything that happened, everything that needs to happen, and also explaining the magic system and the story of this universe. I am actually happy that you enjoyed this, there is no words to describe it, really.

One where the time travel is consistent and not used to bail people out of trouble, but complicate it, where the grand structure of time is set in stone at the very beggining, and we see hints of the path we are to take, but never fully grasp it till we see it ourselves

"Take your stances" The instructor barked out his one and only order, this was to be a test of skill and magical powers. A young pixie-haired woman stood in front of you, she couldn't have been any older than eighteen standing at a measley five feet two inches...yet her blood red eyes held more experience than even some of the instructors watching. She spoke with a quiet hunger, you were nothing but prey to her and her Astral Beast that took it's place next to her, a black lion with the same deep wine red irises as it's master. _[Sorry, but there's only one spot left in this academy. And you're the one thing standing in my way]_ Your body shook, this would be your first battle with a power you'd only discovered a week ago while this tamer seemed to be both competent and calculating- you couldn't possibly survive...or you thought so until that familiar surge of power arrived once again and and a smirk pulled at your lips. _{I'll crush you and that pet of yours with this power, bring it on shortstack}_ Bluffs wouldn't do too much damage but hopefully her blazing anger would throw her off balance- especially now that her beast was charging at you full sprint.

I know many don't care but I have to say this is probably one of my favorite pieces from Peter Crowley, just listening to those powerful strings and instruments. Really does pierce the soul like at 2:42-2:50. The choir really echoing and booming, really makes you feel like time is catching up to you. And really when it comes to orchestra's like Two Steps from Hell, Audiomachine, Peter Crowley, Thomas Bergersen etc, they're all great in my book, and anything to do with Time, or the ticking sound from a clock..is just the best hehe.
