I can’t stress how TRUE is this video. Each and every line that you said is true. I came here as a student 3years back and I am from a normal middle class Indian family where parents took care of most of the stuffs and I didn’t really know how worse people in the real world could be. I was in a safe nest until I moved to Canada. Right from my first house owner(Indian, from the same state as mine), housemates, collegemates, few friends that I made, everybody were only trying to either use me, benefit from me, or be in touch/help you because they can get help from you in the future. Except for a handful of people who were genuinely concerned and selflessly helped. I used to cry a lot because of how naive I was to believe ppl and then get played by, in my initial years. Then I understood that to survive this I have to become strong, defensive, emotionally detached, take a stand for myself, talk back, absolutely not to rely on anyone for even a small help, not to share much especially about your personal stuffs, achievements or good things that happens to you. Many aren’t happy about your growth, learnt that lesson harder way. I really wish I had seen this kind of video and be prepared what to expect before moving to Canada. Thanks for such an open talk.. And that’s so true about hobbies, when I felt lonely I started revisiting my childhood hobbies and found happiness in my own company. Also, went to movies, concerts, museums alone and didn’t rely on anybody to do what I like the most.

I totally agree with whatever u have said … every single word worth listening… I was in UK for 5 years .. was in Japan almost for 2.6 years … went to Canada twice on multiple entry visa .. But I have concluded one thing… people here in India carries more values , honesty and sense of belongingness … they are more helpful and many a times a selfless help they do…. India and Indian culture is best in the world

You're absolutely right. I experienced all of them. It's a hard way to learn. If you're careful from the beginning and start to believe in yourself you won't get hurt.

Yes agreed to you sir , even if a person is coming to canada people make you feel like its such a bad idea to study or work overseas , people try to put you down either its because of competition or it's because they want you to be socially conservative . Moreover few of them will genuinely make you realise what are the pros n cons of being in an abroad city n how u can push yourself towards the success so never let your failures dishearten u or your achievements overwhelm u at last stay motivated n think before trusting also making any of them your priority who are around you

I agree to every single word you said bhaiya. I would like to say just one thing in life don’t ever trust anyone in life till the time you know that person in and out which means properly. Also a golden rule in life, Learn to observe the audience in the room before you can trust them completely in sharing about your life. Just move abroad only if you can live an independent life coz you should just trust yourself for a few years till you are ready to trust others.

Mere saath bhi aisa hua tha, i met 200 to 300 people whom i made my contacts. Let me make it more clear. For every 10 contacts, 5 never gave a fuck about me, 4 were negative and toxic and just 1 person would really help me if he or she could. From 300 people i met, only 30 were genuine. And that is not worth it. Just because of 2 3 bad roommates, i suffered financially, emotionally and physically and had no other choice except to return back to india. I wasted my 45 lakhs.
