This is one of those ideas that look neat on paper and for a couple of seconds but then all the complications just hit you hard. Of course, this has nothing to do with Artsabers, kudos to them for doing this and making it so cool.

I find it odd folks made fun of this saber, even though it's the same thing as Pong Krell's lightsabers and the Jedi Temple Gaurd's sabers, where it folds. xD

I started watching your channel about a month ago when I was searching for a Neopixel lightsaber and I saw your Shin Hati lightsaber video and I bought the saber about week later so thanks a lot for helping me start my Neopixel saber journey!

This entire staff is 8 feet long. That is a MONSTER! O.O No way could my 5'6 self use that without the ground looking like a newbie golfer's teeing spot. XD Great review, my guy!

Yeah it’s huge! That’s why I had to use my shorter blades. I could never use the included 36inch blades. Way too long! Hahaha

I loved the channel before, but hearing that you also ascribe to the “everything else after force awakens was trash” gang, now I’m a fan. Seriously, The Last Jedi can take a hike, and everything that came after it.

Another good, solid review. I don't really like the hilt, main reason is that pivot hinge and lock. Plus the magnets to hold it closed. Too easy to get damaged if dropped or abused. I can understand why the twist on/off is that way, most aren't programmed to work in double bladed hilts like that. The programming can be altered to get it to work though. I also agree with the app. I have 3 hilts that have it equipped and I don't use it................also it's more buggy with iPhone. Myself, I'd be more willing to purchase the Satele Shan double bladed hilt instead of this, even though it costs way more because of all the etching/filagree work on it.

Really appreciated the review, because I've been contemplating forever on if I was going to get this & I think I won't. Just the whole hassle of the 2 blades only being able to use Gesture Controls at the same time when folded really broke it for me... Always thought the whole fold out thing was pretty unnecessary for double-sided lightsabers, but you do have to admit it was a pretty cool trick when the Dark Rey got into a clash & then folded her saber back up so it would trap the Light Rey's lightsaber. One of very few 'Pro's' compared to a long list of 'Cons' it would have...

This is cool, I actually bought a baselit one of these.. it may just be my experience but the hilt is SUPER fragile, I’ve been having problems with it since I bought it… kinda disappointed seeing as it has actually only been a week and I spent 490$ or so on it. The hinge is also relatively fragile and the slider that connects the 2 blades fell out in my experience, somehow the hilts emitters also got rotated, making it hard to get the blade in. Aswell some of my screws fell out on their own, (they were pre-screwed in) anyways, if anyone is planning to buy this.. be careful, because all I did was basic spinning, definitely will not buy such an eccentric piece again, might just buy some dueling sabers.

Good idea but I’ve always been a bit dubious about the locking mechanism when spinning and such a shame you can utilise them as single sabers great show mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻

I really dig that lightsaber. Definitely the best part of Rey after The Force Awakens lol. Saber itself looks great, shame about the blade plugs though

Not a the biggest fan of staffs.Like crossgaurds its just not my style. Have a Maul in the collection and want a Pong Krell but thsts about it 🤷‍♂️.

Menacing looking hilt, but wasted only for only 8 seconds. That’s stupid! I wish that that kind of saber had more screen time as well as Liea’s lightsaber
