There are new mortars that drop from all sealed chests (Bronze reinforced Mortars of all variants) so all Dark Sealed Chests drop the new ship parts.

Tip: If you aren’t farming for Atlantean stuff, just use in is potions to get around high level npcs. Also, use revealing potions

@@muhk4788 Reveal are with Growth Sap (from destroying trees), and Invisibility are from Jade Pearls (the ones from the asshole living clams)

My friend got me and himself silver and light silver framing from a dark sea expedition we did today for a short bit. Wanted to confirm that the new ship parts and loot can be gotten from dark sealed chests rarely.

Luck 3 is for armor and gear if you want scrolls use luck 4

I grinded dark sea with my friend with luck 3 and after opening over 150+ dark sea chests the best things we got is a powerful scroll and 3 armoured

Best way to obtain exotic gems is to find Crystal field islands in Dark Sea. This islands have crystals that u can break and obtain gems. But do note that this islands spawn extremely rare and sometimes u might just miss em.

Actually, the new gems aren't obtainable from these crystal islands... A friend of mine found one on release date and got 0 of them from the island.

Do you know how to deal with heavy atlantean brigs? I can't kill them, is there a way to just not have to deal with them Even 1 of them ruins my run because they chase you forever

1. They dont chase you forever if you create enough distance, you just need a lot of distance. 2. If you hit the captain it will get off the ship to chase you personally and the boat will stop until they despawn (take a few minutes)

Tbh as of right now no one has actually been able to make a proper build because no one knows what is actually good right now. It will take around two more weeks for everyone to settle in, so you have plenty of time to settle in honestly.

You can go to whispering cave and get the 13 chests in the secret area because they count as underwater chests and you have a 5% chance on getting sunken gears from underwater chests now. You should also get the brig and visit a bunch of islands with beaches to get clams and other stuff to brew a bunch of potions. You can go to places like palo town to grind both seaweed (near the island underwater) and growth sap (destroying trees) to grind potion exp and make 2 of the most used potions. For gem grinding you can try to farm rivals for treasure maps to get chests or kill a bunch of pirates for sealed chests. You should also go to mount oyster (othrys) and the pillars on the jaws to grind copper mushrooms because energy regen is one of the most used secondary stat for gems. Also you can upgrade gems meaning you can just use whatever gems you have since the ones that you want to use in the future you can just upgrade it to higher level. For ship gears anything should be fine for the normal sea since brig is a power house. I personally like using coehorn and carronades because with brisk enchantment the bronze coehorn just becomes a discount archaic mortar that doesn't explode randomly. Now for dark sea exploration, you should consider going negative renown so you can steal cargos since you usually need half a ship of cargo to be able to stay in higher layers, but for you I'd suggest just stay in layer 1 since if you really want better chests you can do layer 3 with invisibility potions (jade pearl obtained from clams at diving spots). For any sort of builds like your armour, weapons, ship, deckhand, those I cannot tell you anything because I have a speed/resilience build for my ship and 9 drawback on me (I die faster than king calvus when fighting him and without taking any damage from him). Another thing is deckhands has been changed to not require renown and renown currently is just completely useless unless you want to go on leaderboard, so that should probably stop people from hunting you randomly less. TLDR: Check wiki/trello. Grind potion ingredients, gems, upgrade your gears and ships to the best ones you can get, lots of mental and physical preparation before you dive into the dark sea.

Healing, Piercing and Resistance are intentional scrolls that are obtainable through normal sealed chests. Other exotic scrolls are Dark sea only.

It will only store it if you have gotten chests then went to the next sea. It won't just automatically store it if you have chests ON your ship and then leave, you have to go to the next sea to even store it.

Nimbus dark sea is actually smaller than the bronze dark sea, reason being, it's much faster to go to the insanity ranges in nimbus than in bronze, which is interesting. And yeah, already from the first insanity range, nimbus dark sea ships are much much more powerful than bronze dark sea ships.
