8:00 Silja traveled back in time to 1911 with Hannah, cause Hannah hoped to meet Jonas there (but only met Jonas/Adam and is killed by him). So Silja is the child of Hannah and Egon in 1954, born in 1988, first traveled to 1911, then sent way into the future, where post-apocalyptic Elisabeth takes Silja under her wing. After Silja has completed a mission for Adam in capturing Martha, Silja takes Martha's 19th-century clothes and steps through the time portal in the forbidden zone, like she has seen Jonas done before. She travels to 1890, her and Bartosz meet and fall in love, and Hanno/Noah and Agnes are born, but Silja dies during the birth of Agnes in 1910. Silja RIP 1954/1988 - 1910.

Best episode in philosophycal view I think, every one searched their own paradise (I mean meeting, finding, saving their loved ones) but never realizing that once in their lives, they had met their own paradise, Claudia met Regina, Noah found Charlotte, Jonas saw Martha again (on the lake) but it didn't last, because their lives locked in an infinity cycle. So, I guess everyone had ever reached their own paradise they dremaed at leat once, its so beautiful🖤

When Adam kills Martha, he reacts weird because expects some kind of Thanos' coming-to-dust effect. Killing Martha was supposed to end with his timeline and, so, he would be destroyed somehow. Bad luck it didn't work. Good luck Claudia was the girl with a real plan :D

I was also amazed by this episode. The continuity of the show is just unmatched. How they were able to connect the dots across the two realities/timelines was amazing. It also gives all of the characters more meeting seeing the season one recap knowing the full family trees.

You are totally forgetting that there are 2 dimensions. Claudia killed alternate Claudia, not herself. And Alternate Bartosz is the one that saves Martha, not the Bartosz from our world.

@@Abhijitdas8710 Eve exploits the loophole when time stops at the apocalypse to split a moment and cause two actions to happen simultaneously. Martha rescues Jonas and Martha doesn't rescue Jonas. The moment splits and both happen. And in that split there becomes two Jonas and two Martha. The Jonas that is rescued is killed by the Martha that didn't rescue him and who eventually becomes Eve. The Martha that rescued him joins the Jonas that wasn't rescued(reason he doesn't remember her) and is eventually killed by Jonas as Adam in the future. Adam thinks this will break the loop but doesn't realize that there were two Marthas and he only killed one of them.

8:50: Yes, and Regina and Hannah are Agnes' grandmothers. Remember her saying that her her grandmother was from Winden and that she loved the place? Now you know: Agnes started her affair with Doris to make her leave Egon so that Egon could have an affair with Hannah ensuring Silja's birth. Noah meanwhile ensures that Bartosz comes together with Silja, so both Agnes and Noah could exist.

I don't think Adam was enjoying killing Martha. It was a pained expression he had. He's not evil, he thinks he's doing what needs to be done to fix the loop.

Yeah. He just didn't know Eve was exploiting the loophole when time stops to split a moment and cause two alternate Marthas to exist at once, the one that rescues Jonas and the one that kills Jonas.

The 1888 Jonas was the one who ran at the basement before the apocalypse happen. That's why he doesn't remember being on the other world. And the Adam that knows everything was the one who Alt-Martha saved before the apocalypse. The Bartosz that stopped Alt-Martha from saving Jonas was the one that with Alt-Martha whose seen his Future self that's why he has the device.

Not true. The Jonas that gets saved by Alt-Martha always dies. The Jonas that survives in the basement joins Claudia after the apocalypse until he travels to 2019 as The Stranger. Before the apocalypse he travels to 1888 with the others and becomes the Adam that we saw in 1921 in Season 2.

Yup, I second Julian. Adam is only aware of the alt-world because alt-Martha visits him in 1888 as we see early in the season.

See how it works? Martha is killed by Adam in Adam's world and Jonas never existed in Eva's world. And then there are two scenarios: 1. Martha from Eva's world saves Jonas from Adam's world from the apocalypse and brings him to Eva. He works for Eva for soma time and is finally shot by scarfaced Martha who eventually becomes Eva. 2. Martha is about to save Jonas but interrupted by Bartosz. The two meet Magnus and Franziska from Adam's world who bring her to Adam who sacrifices her in his machine. Jonas meanwhile survives the apocalypse in the cellar, becomes the Stranger and finally Adam. That's why the Stranger knows nothing of story 1. So Eva is correct: Joining Adam means death for Martha, choosing Eva means life for her. For Jonas it's the other way around. And like Schroedinger's cat, Jonas and Martha are dead and alive simultaneously. Quantum entanglement. Ah, and Claudia as well.

If you had paused in episode two at the family "tree" (or circle in the Nielsen case) you would have propably blown your mind early like I did with the Hannah being Jonas mother and great (times 4) grand mother and bartosz being noahs dad and jonas great (times 3) grandfather. I sat there for several minutes when I saw that lmao.

Omg my mind was blown. Thats true Hannah is at the same time Jonas’ great grandmother since she is Silje’s mother and therefore Agnes’ grandma ( then Tronte then Ulrich then Mikkel then Jonas 😂😂😂😂)

Adam wasn’t enjoying killing Martha. You could tell just by his face and the way he closed his eyes that it’s something he didn’t want to do but had to.

PLEASE I NEED ANSWERS ! Warning- HAVENT SEEN EPISODE 8 FINALE !!!!! When Claudia meets Adam after he kills Martha. Shouldn't she be dead? Or does it mean that the events happening haven't happened? When Original Claudia kills her counterpart. Did that happen before? Or does it mean the events aren't repeating? Or is that Original Claudia an alter? As Jonas-Adam and Jonas-dead? And lastly, When Noah and Elisabeth go to find missing Charlotte. He grabs Claudia's leather notebook but the final pages were already missing but we later see that Old Claudia rips off the pages in the bunker? Are those two different leather notebooks? Like the two pennies of 1986? THANKS SO MUCH

Bartosz fathers *Hanno* Tauber (Noah's real name), not Hannah. Hannah isn't the daughter of a traveller. You'll see why at the end.

@@Tensolin01 He shook because Siljia is his late wife and to his knowledge up to that point wasn't a traveller. Siljia and Bartosz named their daughter Agnes. They're still somewhat related. Siljia is Bartosz grand aunt since she's Claudia's half-sister through Egon.
