The Pure Quality, Strength and Dexterity Build for Dark Souls 3. Best suited for playing on an early playthrough or for beginners, because you will be able to use many different weapons to test and experiment with. I made this build at SL 85, however that is not the cap, just where I thought I would showcase the build. At higher LVLs I would suggest continuing leveling Vigor, Endurance, and getting Strength to at least 40 w/ the rings.
How the Build Looks at SL 85:
Vigor - 31
Attunement - 14
Endurance - 25
Vitality - 15
Strength - 30
Dexterity - 32
Intelligence - 10
Faith - 10
Luck - 7
Rings:
Knight's Ring, Hunter's Ring, Chloranthy Ring, Carthus Milkring
(The rings add +8 DEX and +5 STR, making it 40 DEX and 35 STR)

@@dr.cloud1258 you can use the ring of favor to increase vit, the havel ring and the prisioneir's chain, good for tank builds. Edit:you should us ethe ring of favor either way, it's pretty great.

Hi, thanks for the build. I wonder, someone told me this about quality builds: "Didn't watch the video, but I recommend going for 27 str for a quality build. If you two-hand a weapon, your str will multiply by 1.5, so 27 str is the equivalent of 40 str, which is the soft cap for quality builds. These extra points can be put into dex and with the hunter's ring, you'll have 40 dex as well." Thanks

There are a lot of other tutorials that give a general sense of what to spec into but they're mostly at level 150+ so its a little unrealistic for most new people to Dank Souls. Thank you for this video, it helped a lot.

I started playing Dark Souls 3 almost a year ago on my xbox. My build was terrible and I made some dumb choices in leveling not very good weapons, transposing the wrong item or weapon from the bosses souls. I was just before the Dragonslayer armor boss entrance when I decided to put it a side for a while. I wasn't doing enough damage and getting killed very easily. I started playing again at the end of April in my laptop. It's a regular one, can run the game with every setting on low and at 20 frames or so. Thanks to this quality build I'm now ebating the game! Got as far to the bonefire before the Souls of cinder, I'm throwing hands with sister Friede and now exploring the Ringed City DLC. And now I'm actually having fun with the game :D Thank you so much

One quick critique, though I guess this is more an opinion of how I like my item bar set up, but I have my black separation crystal and soapstones on my start button menu rather than item bar. They don't need to be readily available 100% of the time, so my method is to have them on the start button menu, and only have essentials or useful utilities on my actual item bar.

The Ring of Favor would be a much better option than the Carthus Milkring for this build. It gives HP, Stamina, and Weight.

I find the Carthus Milkring fairly pointless. You can still see the start of the roll and predict where they'll be. Unless it has a hidden use I don't know about..

+H Ramone Builds up are exactly that. Builds ups with a status effect after each hit such as Bleed. darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Bleed Covenants aren't necessary, but they can provide some nice rewards depending on which covenant you choose. You can always leave / change covenants darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Covenants

Thank you! At the time of this video, I used just a Blue Yeti mic (on the stand) with DxTory to record and Vegas Pro to edit (Vegas Pro for the bad thumbnails too that were later replaced!). My most recent setup (for the late DS3 videos and beyond) has been the same Blue Yeti mic (on a mount to my desk) with OBS Studio to record and Premiere Pro to edit and Photoshop for the thumbnails. Surprisingly, when I look back at this video, I absolutely love the color tone that was displayed (not sure if it was DxTory or Vegas Pro rendering or just some glitch). It just has the perfect set of dark tone to it imo and I tried to replicate it in Premiere Pro but didn't have the same result. As for some of the bad choppiness you see in the video, it was because I set the recording write speed higher than my hard drive (which was trial and error to fix). Sorry for being so in depth, but I love talking about this stuff!
