Hey I'm just starting to get into er pvp. I own ds3, but haven't gotten far because the mp in souls is important to me. Anyway I'd like to understand what about ds3 pvp makes er inferior. I'm not going to argue so no worries.

Elden Ring is too varied and it's not always a good thing, plus what breaks the pvp the most are certain broken skills or spells to be spammed in bursts, this not only makes the game frustrating but also makes it boring, a sensational example was the river of blood before the nerfs, everyone was using the same weapon. And then frankly the builds are all about spam, making the game torture. @@intensify5046 sorry but this is simply your opinion at best. The ER compared to DS3 has worse balance overall, there is very little deliberate action or thinking in what you do because the pacing is borderline that of BB but has poise of DS1, not to mention completely overturned global damage. There is almost no true combos, there is no casting cancel. Tldr - ER pvp is lobotomized compared to DS3. It's not issue of "getting used to it" but broken game design. But hey. We finally can jump and crouch, what a great trade off!

Don't you think ds3 allow especially on lvl 60 minmax and twink to the point, when only 3 havel squads could give some sort of challenge, not just killing lambs

@joeskintone9752 is this a joke? You can invade almost up to level 80 and the summons are usually max level. There's no challenge, just running away till they eventually spam you to death.

@@ryanvandoren1519 they are waaay nerfed in damage and health, you can trade every hit. For example if host is around 60-70 and summon 120-130, he would give you 140-160 dmg with straight sword per hit, you in this situation can have 220-280 per hit on straight sword, and with hp debuff they last like 4-5 hits. or 1-2 combos. try dark build sl60-65 +8, with harald curved sword or exile curved sword, 500+ dmg per hit, annihilation in two hits nearly guaranteed
