Kosh was def one of the best Wizards I've ran into. His cast timing and positioning was top notch. When he started his cast at 1:19, Shadoza was in between us, so I thought it would hit him. Then blam! Right to the face. Must have either free aimed at the beginning of the cast or switched lock-ons at the last second. Also took advantage of us focusing on Chase, especially at the beginning. When he blasted An at 1:42, he was just high enough on the stairs to cast over the top while remaining a safe distance. Truly impressive.

Sorcery is overused? I thought people always complained how bad sorcery is in ds3 compared to other ds games, yet it was always my favourite.

@@JrKengu Overused, and underpowered in PvP. DS3 sorcery has a ton of missiles that do lots of damage, but not much else - hurts a ton, but predictable, making it weak in PvP. It's missing the mixups of DS2, where you had Shockwave, Vortex, and sorcery weapons like Blue Flame to keep people on their toes. Doesn't mean a guy like in the video can't use it well, of course!

@@BlueShellshock ah ok, I must admit I never delved into pvp too much in any of the souls games, but most of the pvp I did in ds3 was as a sorcerer. Yeah I definitely agree that sorcery in PvP is hard, u need team mates to distract the enemy. Trying to 1v1 as a sorcerer, against a melee guy, is actually almost impossible if the melee knows what they’re doing.

@@esssss8415 @Nightmare although you can buff covenant teammates like Aldrich and Watchdog, to be clear everything that is on YOUR side completely, that means no possible hit with each other (exceptionally enemies, for some reason they can buff us but we can’t buff them...)

I was watching the whole stream. Really fun times. I got into DS 3 a couple weeks ago and after playing through all of pve, I recently started pvp (I got destroyed most of the time lol). Chase is so gooood! I'm trying to learn from his invasions. He makes everything look so easy. So far my biggest challenge is reacting to connection. Naturally, from pve I'm used to reaction dodge/parry/attack, but I can throw most things I learned from pve out of the window because that doesn't work in pvp. What amazes me is that Chase can control the flow of battle, since his experience allows him to know what moves people will do, so he already acts on his intuition before anything happens. 4D chess souls.

hell yea man, it's really true, chase makes it all seem easy, to the point where you'd think he just gets noobs as his opponents, also, yea, pve is different than pvp cause of the lag factor, but, keep playing because the feeling you get when you land a parry or a backstab in pvp is way better than pve. I would say 4 out of 5 Blues are just PVE-ers. Those types are rarely min/maxed and spread out their level up points all over the place. This way they can use many different weapons and spells, but not optimally. They also probably don't realize the get unembered HP when they get summoned in.

new-ish player here lookin to pick some brains, is there any major feel/vibe/meta/whatever differences from folks in the 90ish and 120ish brackets generally speaking? Zipped through the game plus dlc ending at 90ish about a week ago and been messing around pvping during my first ng+ run and wondering if I want to push 125ish on this char. Like are there activity differences, skill and playstyle differences etc. thanks homies

If you are on PC, you can quickly have both. Otherwise, you can make a backup copy of your save file, with one staying at 90 and the other advancing to 120. This way you can go back and forth, without the need for a new character. 90 you will find more invasions and more variety of locations in my experience. 120 your character can have a full build and be tanky, but it seams that level has died down. You will also have more invasions at Ringed City than anywhere else.

Frayed Blade. Obtained by transposing Midir's soul. In my opinion, it's the best Katana and one of the better overall weapons in the game on a Dex build.

Ive been seeing alot of pure int build invade ring city. They are so annoying, they just run away and blast you the entire time

Usually you can wait till they've fired a few CSS and then aggressively pursue them. They are typically squishy, and unprepared for close combat, especially if you are using hyper-armor weapons. If I run into a very passive wizard who just spams spells from afar, I become a Sacred Bloom Shield enjoyer. You can just stand there and parry any spell they fire at you. CSS is actually one of the easiest to parry. They use a lot of FP/Ashen flasks and get frustrated. Have an Xbow equipped and just chip away at them in between casts and estus refills.

how does he have so many siegbraus on one character??? every video he seems to always have like 10+ even though there are only like 5(?) per playthrough. Same with the Divine blessings, he seems to always have them every time even though theres a very limited amount of them per run as well
