so I think the cage hollow walking off the cliff is a bug that can happen when the camera isn't focusing on enemies. apparently it can happen with the swordmaster, and that's how the dogs can 'teleport' to you when you aren't looking at them. apparently models act weirdly when you aren't looking at them or something

If you watch carefully in No. 7 the red phantom with the pickaxe, to the left of the guy who threw the firebomb, wasn't pushed off by the firebomb, he actually stops super close to the edge after stumbling, then the third casting of Floating Chaos pushes him off. Makes the fail even better in my opinion :P

I don't consider number 2 such a fail. That guard clips down on the elevator all the time, so it's nothing extraordinary, nor really such a big mistake from the player (especially not if he didn't know that the guy just lands right next to him). Also, thank you for keeping up the work Sunlight (and community for sending clips) it's been such quality entertainment since DS1!

Haven't played Dark Souls III much, but here's a tip I found; In the swamp area with the two big guys, if you're lazy and don't want to fight them, but still want the loot, run past them, climb halfway down the ladder, and watch them kill theirselves.

2 things about number 8... The cage dude respawns, so he's not quite screwed... Also, you get a second chance at the Mound Makers covenant if you complete Sirris's quest and summon her at the Cursed Tree boss entrance, after killing all the lords

If you fail to join the Mound-Makers BEFORE killing the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, you CAN still join the covenant in that playthrough, but it takes *much* longer and much more effort to do (in this case it probably would have been better for #8 to just re-start his playthrough). The alternative way that you can do it is you have to complete pretty much the entirety of Sirris' quest-line, up to and including helping her to kill Hodrick, at which point you unlock the Mound-Makers covenant automatically.

#9, the guy is absolutely right. The main difficulty of the game is inverse to your memory of enemy attacks and placement, plus navigating environmental hazards (like gravity).

You can still join the Mound Maker covenant if you progress through the Sirris questline. The only thing you must do is not offer tongues to Rosaria (offering tongues to re-spec or re-design your character do not count, only if you offer them to deepen your relation with the covenant)
