So to be completely honest I just needed a break this month, you know when it gets towards the end of the year and you just need to curl up and hibernate like a hedgehog? Exactly. I hope you enjoy this episode, it really is a fun one - I think I'm going to have to plan out what I want to do at the start of the new year so I will let you all know what's happening then. Getting invaded with my skill level is never fun, I’m good enough to PvE without too much problems but PvP is still too difficult. So when I was invaded while in the demon labyrinth I pulled out the collapse emote when I saw my invader and he turned into a helpful sunbro invader and walked me through the labyrinth. And black crystaled out after clearing the area. Good guy and gives me hope for my future in DS3

My favorite invasion that I ever did was using that trick to appear like a ghost, attempting to backstab the host. He turned at just the right time and tried attacking me. I then ran behind a pillar while a red distracted them, changed armor sets, re-applied hidden body and then went over like nothing happened and killed a darkmoon without anyone batting an eye. Unfortunately I rolled off a cliff while dodging the phantoms attacks but it was fun nontheless. Amd who says the same trick never works twice

Years ago, I used to watch all of sunlightblade's dark souls 2 videos. I dreamed of being included in one of them, but unfortunately xbox 360 doesn't record clips. Now that I have a ps4 and dark souls 3, I hope that I'll manage to get a clip in one of your videos, SLB!

I've got a suggestion for you Sunlight. How about top 10 Counters. Where basically someone else does something amazing or is trying to do something amazing and through sheer skill or know how it's thwarted. A good example would be someone who's just not buying the white phantom ring/hidden body combo and instantly jumping on such a player. Or seeing a starving dragon plunge attack of doom at the last second and getting out of the way before wasting the player? Things like that, where the other guy should have gotten you but not this time.

My highlight wasn't invading because I don't find glory in 2v1'ing with Ringed Knight Greatswords, or managing to keep off a three man gank in Irithyll while trying to make it up to the elevator. My best moment happened on a new pyromancer I just made last night and got invaded on mere hours ago. The invader came in, waited for me to clear the area I was in inside the crypts, then waited to see if I would engage in combat by spamming block at me. All I did was spam block back, not really in the mood for PvP. I knew they'd usually be keen on getting paid off with an ember- but at the time I had very few since I hadn't been helping people kill bosses to get a bunch of easily earned embers and extra souls... so I set down a repair powder, which he took and bowed to me. I did the proper bow emote back and he black crystal'd out, satisfied. A lesser invader would have slain me after getting the powder, wanting their ember too, but he responded very well to being met with friendship rather than immediate hacking and slashing. I'm certain that if I leapt at them with all I had he would have parried me and one shot me. ( Had a bandit knife and a buckler. That has bad news all over it for people in low level areas. )
