Dark Souls: Undead Merchant Firebomb Strat

How to kill the undead male merchant using black firebombs from by the first hellkite encounter.

Haha, that's insane! This is my most viewed video and it has to be my worst. I had no idea what I was doing on this one. I'm good thanks! Moved to Cologne 2 months ago so had all my stuff in storage. Started a new job, just found an apartment but have no internet yet, etc. It's not been a good time for gaming :) But I wil have internet in the new year and want to start looking at a beginners magic route over xmas if I have time. How's the speed running going?? I can't believe you are doing sub 42 now! That's amazing!

@@mrteatime1410 Speedrunning is going great, routeknowledge has increased and so have the options of skips. Dupes, etc. If you ever need some advice on beginners magic routes let me know. I've been working on a Meme All boss no DLC route that gets most sorceries. So i'm well aware of the pros and cons of sorceries in a speedrun.

I have also found a consistent strat for the undead merchant with normal firebombs.

Either it's very inconsistent or it's me having crooked eyes.. It's so hard to hit him twice, especially the second hit.

i think there's a lot better strats than this. I need to go back an revisit this sometime to improve it. Not my best tutorial unfortunately.

Cool idea but just man up and fight him lol and spend 1,000 souls for the key its not that bad. The heater shield is the lightest and cheapest 100% physical reduction shield you could literally just buy it and use it on him and then have a good shield the whole game you also need arrows to shoot the dragons tail off if you want the drake sword. Getting yulia the katana would be the only reason to kill him other than just being silly. Which it doesnt look like you get from cheesing him.
