You got the quote completely wrong but it still says the same thing basically lol “You’re about to face off with the Dark Troopers. I think this would be so much better if you cut off the first 40 seconds, doesn’t flow that well, the last 3 minutes is frickin gold though Edit: I like the first 40 seconds but it just doesn’t flow well with the rest of the song, how you incorporated imperial March was really smooth. EDIT EDIT: did you increase the bass of the final sirens? Sounds better

@@SirSwavey That's not what he meant. The Darth Vader/Empire leitmotifs just detract from the overall pace and texture of the intro, the very last few notes before the transition at 0:33 work but it comes from a body that takes away from the theme. And since Star Wars is absurdly iconic to the point where all these notes mean something and leave a very specific image in your head, it sorta breaks the focus on the Dark Troopers itself, but mostly just doesn't really sound like it belongs. It's worthy critique.

@@maxwellalexander2962 I argue that its lack of belonging is why it shines to me personally. If you step back and hear why I'm contradicting the melodies making them fight each other for the spotlight, new and old melodies, it'll make more sense. Your perspective is totally valid though, man. I can totally see why it looks like a swing for the fence. But it looks like a home run to me 🤷
