The only smart comment I saw from someone that I agreed with is that Dark is fast, too fast, almost in a negative way. I felt the same with the way he was playing. It was a lot of skill but unrefined and out of control at times. He's gonna be a real problem as he gets better and more controlled

If dark was able to adapt his play style to be more like appjack or somebody who plays extra smart and defensive, but kept his mechs, threatened triple resets and pogos at the right times... he’d peak so hard in comp.

Nobody with mechanics like dark's is playing nearly as good as him, either. Despite being a sweep, they were mostly 1 goal differences, and atow has been unbeaten recently iirc. Go hate somewhere else lol

This matchup highlights something funny to me cus like, anybody else notice how many resets Dark was going for originally vs how many Atow would go for (when they had space)? Atow would just read the spacing between the two of them and using a single flip reset/any other method to simply get the ball past Dark, while dark was originally spamming resets whenever he could. The reason I think Atow gave him a “nice one” at 24:10 is cus Dark’s shot ACTUALLY very efficiently used the space he was afforded. Only one reset needed to boot.

U should watch squishy. The reset give alot of dopamine. But just a single aerial to ceiling with the bump and slowly ball fall of to the net is enough vs any player literally. Squishy beat a MENA pro by doing only this. Resets are good but maybe ez to mess up

The result isn't surprising. Atows somewhere around top 10 right if not just outside it. It's so competitive at the top though and it's good to see dark poking at them. Shows that he can rise to it. Even if he's not there yet.

Atow seems like a bot, he can miss open nets and stuff but he will save and he will punish any misplay from you, dark is like a superhuman with a lot a mistakes but a lot of power; but you need to be at the 100% for the full time in order to beat Atow
