What a beautiful hilt. Since the soundboard is a TXQ Saber SNV4, means it's quite easy to use.

In regards to the small charging port opening. If you can remove the core completely, take a small nail file and work it inside the opening until it is a fraction larger. That aluminum is soft enough that it wouldn’t take much effort.

Yes it is! I have to practice more with it. It responds and moves more like a real sword. You can't get the speed and fancy spins on it like you can with a round blade.

For that price, it's really impressive. They're doing a nice job in making their hilts. I'm not in the market for that particular hilt, but I can see the appeal. I don't like that exposed charging port though. I don't buy hilts with those, because I don't like the thought of it potentially getting shorted if something gets in there. Myself, If I had that hilt, I'd use a port cover on the chassis so it can't be used unless the chassis is removed from the hilt. I don't mind the need to put it together and having 4 set screws for blade retention is a nice thing to have. Overall, Sabneo is a Saber Smith I'll have to keep an eye on.

The only thing I don’t like about the hilt design is where the button is placed. it’s usually where I like to spin the saber so I worry that it’s either uncomfortable or it may turn off when your trying to spin

Spinning the Dark X has a much different feel to it because of the flat blade and the flat hilt. It's not so much a spinner as it is a slasher.

Whenever you have a chance to, could you please make another video going over the Bluetooth features and how to add sound fonts and music to the SD card? I bought a Sabneo V8 Pixel 2.0 based on your original review of that saber, but since it lacks upgrades via Bluetooth or an SD card, I think I would like to upgrade to this Dark X Saber instead.

It uses the SNPIXEL V4 soundboard so use those tutorials that I've created ;)

I got my Dark X (stupid Canada Post lost it and it took 10 days extra) but now I have a defective microSD card. I swapped with a known good one but I don't have the original sound fonts. Do you know if a copy of the microSD card is available for download? SabNeo hasn't gotten back to me yet

Is the blade a poly carbonate, or acrylic?

The description on their website says polycarbonate. I wouldn't duel with this blade though.
