One of the most underrated endings

i think that the end of the 90's till around 2007 was the golden age of anime, i mean, good animes made without cgi with beautiful designs and scenarios and most of the anime were action oriented but also had some drama (Cowboy Bebop, Patlabor, Fullmetal Alchemist,Black Lagoon, Trigun, Darker than Black...), now its magic girls and isekai or also slice of life, it's not that bad but its saturated.

2022 and this anime STILL hits 2 hard.

This ending was super groovy at the end of Darker than Black season 2 OVA (Gaiden) episodes!!! This song worked well for Hei!!! It was Soo cool at end of 4th episode as Hei gave the blonde lady that cold determined look while sitting withdrawn! Sort of like the Real Folk Blues for Spike!

I can only hope they make a season 3 or at least make another manga addition to this series...this is one of my favorite series and it left a pretty huge cliff hanger at the end of season 2...

Love Darker Than Black. Really want a third season eventually and want Hei and Misaki to get together. Think of how compatible they'd be, Hei is a badass contractor and Misaki's a badass human. I just imagine them speeding around in Misaki's Porsche with Hei jumping out the window to electrocute some bad guy and jumping back in?
