I hope someday there will be movie about Darkey and Keys. Imagine the movie poster with the iconic 'red jacket' as cover. The pioneers in Malaysian Indian music that 'dared' to make us dance. In a small malaysian music market, they dared to make an album and started from scratch. Despite all the criticism and comparison to artist from bigger market such as from India, they made music for the 'people'. Malaysian Indian music scene was boring before them. They gave 'hope' to other artists that came after them and that is priceless.

He is a legendary Rockstar from Malaysia since the 90s. He laid the path for many tamil malaysian artistes. He is so respected in Malaysia. I heard he is very nice person as well. He appeared in the Kabali movie with Superstar Rajnikanth in a song.

Akka Magge was their album in cassette 1996,the band was called The Keys. Pioneers of what we call SambaRock genre. 80s and 90s was the glory years of rock and then followed by rap in Malaysia right after US like Nirvana,Metalica,Gun N Roses and so on. They invented this type of rock because we mingle with English,Malay,Chinese speaking people and cinema music was the only one from India . Even other races supports them like Malay and Chinese during that era. I was a young school boy back then.

Darkey Anna is my most favourite musician and singer. The energy is just mind blowing Edit: I was headbanging so hard when puli started singing about a puli Edit 2: always funny to see all front seaters not even move their head but the guys at the extreme end were having a time of their lives.
