alina would of still sliced him as he deserves, also she isnt attracted to his darkness, he was using mals letters to be more relatable to her, exploiting her lonliness and her social rejection, and acted like they were the same (villain play book 101 also groomer playbook 101). alina is protective and feisty, the darkling acted as if he was the same with "his peopel" but he is a user and exploiter, he discards his people like nothing, uses them even for horrible things and only protects himself and his goals, they could not be any different. The series did have something missing....better writers. If they had done actual complex darklina angst instead of shoving malina in the audience's faces, then we would have gotten the renewal. General audiences would have watched in droves if they had done that. Instead, they removed all darklina, gave multiple poorly written chastising lessons like the audience is in Sunday school, and sidelined alina while only giving her one main emotion - anger. It made the character feel one-dimensional, no arc just a long drawn out repeat of the exact same thng as the last episode from season 1. The writers only bothered to make the Crows have any actual moral quandry and development

How much old does that make her 🤔 hmm can you guess the number?? The story is over. Eric heisserer the showrunner hates the trilogy characters and only ever wanted to do the crow story.
