His most commonly use is similar to superman heat vision. He used it to boil Atlantis at some point and can somewhat be tank. But omega beam can be in thr form of multiversal portals, Time traveling, erase soemone from existence or revive the dead. That is because omega beam is the omega effect manefesting, darkseid main source of power, which is basically matter manipulation.

They have nothing in common. Darkseid is a new God, and one of the most powerful villains in DC. And as a new God, his plane of existence extends beyond the multiverse where he is the lord of the planet apocalypse. Gorr is a simple alien not much different than a human. The only reason he became so powerful is because he got his hands on the all-black necrosword. Which was created by Knull who is the Eldridge God of darkness and the creator of the symbiotes. The all-black necrosword was the first symbiote created by knull and was manifested from Knulls shadow, essentially made of living darkness..... and after using it to decapitate a celestial, he refined the blade with the celestial heads divine power. It Primarily takes the form of a sword made from living darkness....However Gorr just happened upon it During Knulls Deicidal campaign where he was in battle with a God and the sword got away from him. Gorr, who was living on a dying barren planet, looked to the gods and ask them why they haven't answered his prayers? And why have they left his wife and daughter die of thirst and hunger? It was at that time that nose fell to the planet battling another Gorr got his hands on the all-black necrosword, which gave him god-like powers. And because Gorr was so devastated that the gods refused to answer his prayers for food and water and allowed his wife and daughter to die, you vowed that with this new power, he would go on a campaign to destroy all the gods. Which he was successful in doing. He killed thousands of gods with the power that the all-black imbued him with. And was finally brought down by three separate Thor's. So in essence dark side and Gorr couldn't have any less in common. Darkseid is a new God and the ruler of Appokolips. And has been for thousands of years. And Gore was a simple human-type alien living on a barren planet, on the verge of dying, when Knull and the all black necrosword came crashing down to his during a battle. And then Gorr stole the sword and went on a god killing campaign.

@@too_official6194 yes I know one of them was Old King Thor, and main 616 Thor, and young Thor without being worthy to wield mjolnir yet who all fought Gorr, attempting to stop the God bomb. I just said 3 Thor's because I'm assuming he was familiar with Thor god of thunder series, and my only point was to reply to him saying that dark side and Gorr were equivalent. They had absolutely nothing in common in terms of their goals, their genealogy, their power sets etc. Sure they are both very powerful, which can be said about 100 DC characters. If he mentioned that Gorr became equivalent to Knull in many ways then that would have made more sense. Or that Darkseid was similar to metron, highfather, Orion etc as they are all new gods. If he's a casual he could even compare Darkseid and Thanos, since the marvel version was based on the DC version. But to throw a humanoid alien with no inherent powers into the conversation and state that he's equivalent to Darkseid in a lot of ways was very strange to me simply because he found Knulls all black which gave him god-like powers as well as turning him bloodlusted and fueled the darkness and hatred within him sending him on a campaign of Deicide. The only comparison I can make to either is that they're both considered murderous villains. However Darkseid was born inherently evil, and Gorr was not. Another way they are not comparable. Anyway thanks for correcting me on the 3 Thor's issue
