I remember reading in the toyhouse that Latte only shoots to slow people down. He'll wound them but not kill them so seeing him make that head shot had a lot more impact.

I absolutely love this, hot damn. Like, if the only animation I'd seen before this was "Sleepwalk" and I'd seen nothing else, I would still learn a lot about Latte's character. Beautiful visual storytelling.

This video adds nothing lore-wise, it just looks nice. Sometimes, all an animation meme has to it is visuals (which is fine). Y'all don't need to make up bs to add substance to complements, it just makes it hollow and meaningless.

The shading is wonderful and that is the best 2d animated gun I've seen in a while, the details like the rifling on the bullet are nice and the effects of the muzzle flash and the smoke coming off the barrel and shell casings are really well done

@@sir_fluff no problem! But yeah its good to research about it, but your attempt was perfect. With all the smoke coming out of the barrel after every shot, and you even put the primer on the bullet casing. With practice and dedication you'll be able to animate every about a gun like how the slide moves back and racks another round in and maybe even full auto with each cartridge ejecting rapidly. But overall it was awesome!

Damn dude, the character acting in this. I really enjoy the story you're telling especially since both brothers are very flawed here, and I don't know if that's intentional. Clearly Chiffon's very sinister and has had bad intentions for a long while, since he was a kid. But there's also a lot off about his older brother, Latte, reaching this level of resentment with him. Idk. I really wanna know more about their lives growing up; if Latte and Muffin actually interacted a lot with Chiffon, or if they kept their distance from Chiffon early on and never bothered to reconnect. It breaks my heart :c

I think that, while they lived in the same house for most of their early years, Latte tried to stay away from Chiffon after their altercation in the kitchen with the cat. And upon Chiffon's unspoken threat, Latte turned a blind eye to his actions and what he was capable of, so that nothing more would happen to him [pun intended]. And as soon as he was able, I think he left that house and convinced Muffin to leave early too. SPOILERS FOR ALARM CLOCK: And as for Latte's level of resentment.. It is heavily implied that Chiffon was controlling the deer that killed Muffin/put Muffin into a coma[?]. And even if Latte doesn't know that exactly, I think he still suspects that Chiffon had something to do with Muffin's death/injuries. Sir fluff has made other animation memes that deliver more context.

I don't know if Latte's one eye is damaged or if he even has the one eye since it's covered up, but if it is injured/missing, this meme hits harder when you think about how his depth perception would likely be off as a result

I recently rewatched a bunch of your old animations and the level of improvement on this one is utterly freaking ridiculous. This may be the best thing you’ve put out, but I could be bias because of Latte. LMAO Bur seriously, the level of storytelling in this is nuts. from alarm call and sleepwalk what we gain is: they had a cat called cheese which died by getting run over (as you can see by the tire tracks in sleepwalk) which was reanimated by chuffinch then emo saved muffin from getting hit by a falling potted plant which was pushed over by chuffinch, losing his red eye after that we can see muffin protect emo from a gang of other emos in alarm call, then we see muffin hit a deer while driving and get impaled by its antlers, also hinted at by the deer scene in the loser video
