It could very well be they said "7 deadly sins" to her when she did the audition, just to keep it a secret that the game was Darksiders 3. It's not that unusual for game companies to do stuff like that.

one of the deadly sins is Wrath which is the same as Fury and i've never heard of a horseman even simiar to fury... maybe war? but we've had that already

Realm Of Darkside well Lilith is her mother so they might, especially with Lilith's propensity for meddling in the Horsemen's affairs and being attached to whichever Lord of Hell is currently in power

I believe those images in the background are the past games she’s been in. I’m assuming she was Poison Ivy in Batman, obviously the female voice in Firewatch, and I haven’t played The Walking Dead games, but that’s what those other images look like to me. The guy mentioned she was in GTA 5 as well, but I haven’t played that game either. I’ll bet she’s been in many games that I would recognize and never even knew it.

Just finished the game yesterday and I got to give Cissy Jones credit for her voice acting as Fury; the journey as I play through the game is as much about her character growing and learning from her mistakes as it is about hacking and slashing. When the credits rolled I was ready for more Darksiders and to see where the story will continue next!

I generally don't even like that style of game, but I surprisingly enjoyed Dead Space (though never got around to playing the sequels). I noticed for this month (August), the free 360 game (which is backwards compatible of course on xb1) is Dead Space 3.

She did as Nora Fries (Victor/Freeze's wife). She's also been in dozens of other games you've probably played (Mafia III, Destiny 2, Fallout 4, Halo 5, ect...), but usually with smaller roles like that. They mention Firewatch because of her lead role in that.

skeptical abt this one. not anyone's fault, GOW just raised the bar for hack and slash. maybe more RPG elements and weapons and armor, and replay ability.

Different style of game altogether. As long as they keep the fun puzzle (zelda style) elements combined with the action style of gameplay, I think it'll be pretty amazing. (Though I'll admit it would be awesome if the RPG elements were expanded upon like that to add longevity to the game). After all, everyone has different tastes, so hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

Maybe, but it might also be a twist during the game that Fury is herself the embodiment of wrath. i.e. she is both a horseman and one of the sins.

Actor is perfectly acceptable. I honestly don’t see why there’s two different words when they do the same job. Doctors are called doctors no matter the gender, so meh. The several people ‘correcting’ the title need to chill out.

2&3 are suppose to be during Wars imprisonment. Though Fury may be a bit more sooner than Death Earth time or after Death since he had to restore humanity.
