The 1st and 2nd game to me are the best of the darksiders games. The 3rd game oh boy its flawed and bad. Genesis while WAY better and Entertaining than the 3rd game kinda made War not as useful as Strife.

Its a step back in the sense its more like 1 then 2 and seeing how they had less money then 2 which was extremely rushed they couldn't have the loot system the game is awesome I finished it a few days ago most of the negatives are not true the story is good and Fury does develop as a character quite nicely the dodge frames only on the last difficulty are a pain because it wants a perfect dodge everytime, out of all of the hollows are 2 better yes but in 2 the necro tree is better then the harbinger tree its what you prefer the only boss fight that I would describe as bad is gluttony, I do not see the dark souls comparison because she has a healing flask and items like the first games? Is it better then 2 I don't think so is it better then 1 most definitely it is a darksiders game.

@@hibarikyoya854 there's a couple of problems with your statements. In Darksiders 1 the gear is actually handled a lot better. When you level up a weapon and put a damage increasing enchantment on it, you can actually feel the difference. In DS3 you can barely feel the difference between a fully upgraded weapon and a non upgraded weapon. It's like dark souls, not because of the healing flask, but because of the way you are expected to play: dodge, dodge, hit. Plus the devs admitted that they have a bonr for dark souls, which is why, on release, the game didn't have a "classic mode" and only had bs mode. Fury's character development isn't awesome. Everytime she opens her mouth, I want to play as the enemy and feed her with her own teeth. She is the most annoying characters in the series. The biggest irony is that she's always flapping her lips about power, but she falls quicker than a rock. And that's under the conditions where she is the only one who is on a sanctioned mission from the charred council and in full possession of her power as a warrior for the balance. And lastly, no, the necromancer tree isn't that much better than the harbinger tree in Darksiders 2. You can make harbinger builds that one shot bosses (or one shot them into the next phase in the case of some, like Absalom)... ON APOCALYPTIC.

I hated DS2 gear system personally...too bloated...

I’m done with the franchise after this. I quit today after Wrath, at the beginning of The Hallows after spending two days and close to 3 hours being killed by the 1st lava mini boss close to the bridge because of the delay in control inputs, horrible dodging etc. Awful, awful game.

Coming from just another peon... Dark Souls is the Master... This game just asked to copy his homework, and failed anyway... How is Dark Souls unplayable? And How is it boring? I guess refusing to evolve, and get stronger, and doing the same old basic combos is what you've been doing, as if you've never heard of utilizing MORE than just the most basic of moves, like a person who spams square, square, triangle throughout the whole God of War series...

Compared to other darksiders it's definetly less exciting. I'm not done with it yet but I've beaten 3 or 4 sins now I believe, and the fights were just not fun up until now.
