THIS WAS MINDBLOWING AFTER I TRIED IT!! IT STILL WORKS!! Been struggling on Apocalyptic mode in Armageddon NG+ for a while and this vid helped me out a lot. As of 12/4/21, this method still worked for me. Best way of doing this is don't let the green and red Psycophants (at the beginning) chase you, just run toward the end of the cliff/road end to be chased by those over there and head for "Behind the bus" area, once you're there, dodge around at least 6 times and then head for the basement area. I did this for about 9 times and ended up with a billion. I wish I could show a snapshot of it here, lol. That was so insane!!

Still working 5/5/2020!! took a couple tries but I just had to follow the exact route you took for it to work.

As of 7/29/2020, this still works. A key part is the circling behind the bus. You can also take different parts of the floor down to the water to decrease the chance of death. Just make sure to circle behind the bus at least six times to reap some reward.

8/18/2020 This still works. I am playing on apocalyptic and I had to do it a few times before I got my million. For me it slowly doubled. Went from 2000, 4000,8000, 16000, then shot up to A million. So I would keep trying and you’ll eventually get it. Thanks for the vid!

holy shit, this is incredible! a tremendous help with leveling up and upgrading EDIT: to anyone going to cheese through Apocalyptic mode on NG+ (Armageddon), be wary - DON'T level up above lv ~100 until you are completely done with the Bonelands areas in NG+ Apocalyptic! over-leveling too early messes up the enemy scaling in there, including story bosses Lust and Angelic Champion, so it'll turn out as a massive difficulty spike and one-hit deaths

19/06/2021: Works a treat! They way I've worked it so far is this: - Instead of getting everyone's attention, hug the wall to the left and gun it straight to behind the bus. - Run/dash around behind the bus, dodging the invisible guy until some other fellows decide to join the party. - Time to get everyone else involved! Run to the cliff and back to the water, running past as many monsters as possible. - Watch as they all show how water-soluble they are. You might want to go back up the stairs to pick up any stragglers after they've all died. - Pop the souls and reap the rewards. - Rinse and repeat!

this glitch is really confusing me as to how it works, If I had to take a guess whats happening I would probably say there is a bug that causes souls that get added to the blue flying souls to get multiplied based on the number of souls it started with, if that is the case then all the circling around the area and the bus that needs to be done is to build up enemy spawns and to bunch them up to herd them towards the soul, my guess as to why this specific area is so effective or why you would need to stay around the bus for so long might be that the bug ramps up faster the more enemies get sucked up into the blue flying soul. that might also explain why so many people get such extream variation between their own attempts. I would be curious to learn the exact math behind this but that would be for someone more mathmatically inclined than I.

PS4 7/5/2020 still works and really give it a try. I did it a couple of times and it only crashed once but after my 7th try I instantly got 4 million. Thanks :)

As of 12/29/2022, this still works on PS4 version 1.11. It doesn’t work on PS5, and I assume it doesn’t work on any other next gen system. The thing that makes the glitch work is the lag (which doesn’t happen on PS5) you get when you’re doing the laps behind the bus while having many enemies around you. Follow everything in the video and make sure you don’t leave the bus area before you your game gets laggy (however, if you wait too long, your game will crash). If you did it correctly, your souls number will at least double, sometimes it could triple or quadruple. I spent about 30 mins doing this and got to 1.5 billion souls. Make sure you don’t go over this, I tried one more time to see if it would double, but when I did the glitch and picked up my souls I was back to zero, so it seems like it resets after 2 billion. Once you know how to do the glitch it’s very easy to do. Good luck.

21June 2020 and still working, you won't get it every time but you'll have it. It took almost an hour to get but I've managed to collect 434 millions. One important thing guys: don't pop the souls only after 3-5 attempts, after that you can pop them

Okay so these seems to be a bit hit and miss for me. Basically for anybody else having trouble; I was following the exact path in the video and couldn’t really get it to work (except for one, jump from 4000-8000). After doing it for a tenth time or so, I was at around 12,000 souls, I broke the soul cache but nothing came out. I then noticed another soul cache glitched in the wall, once I broke this (it was hard to hit moving around in the wall, I panicked and thought I’d lost them all lol) it moved to another soul cache on the other side of the room, also stuck in the wall. After breaking all of these I was then rewarded with 50,000+, which is around x4 of what I had in my current. TLDR; Basically my word of advice is if this doesn’t work the first time, don’t give up and write it off. it seems to be around 1 in 5 for me, but for the times it didn’t show up it seems like it was still working

6-18-22 this still works on ps4 Pro (it crashed a couple times at 500k, but "remembered" the value of souls from previous run and outta nowhere 3 mil). Thank you for this! 😭

22 of July 2020 PS3 1.11 patch still works. I didn’t have to follow the exact same route as what is in the video. As long as you get their attention and get to the end of the stairs you are golden. Had to go back to get some stragglers but other than that still works.

7/10/22 i have tried this 3 times and dose not work for me, i will admit im playing on Easy (as i don't particularly like Souls games and want to get thru this game and get to the next on on my list) so i don't know if this only works on higher difficulty's or if its been patched out.

What it seems like is the point of getting behind the bus is to round up the enemies in an enclosed area to make the game lag. Basically too much going on. Because running on a Xbox series X it won't lag for this game. In short glitch doesn't seem possible on next gen

Im at the end of game on ps4 balanced difficulty, got up to level 57 legit without using any glitches and still have 15 luminous visages in my inventory. If I do this trick to max out to level 100 will it affect game when I go to NG+?

takes a while but did work. 1-22-21, ps4 patch 1.11. after i verified it did, i broke all my crystals and grinded about an hour. doubled a few times until i had around 4 mil. bought 50 havoc shards for my hard difficuty ng+ run. after leveling till around lvl 115, u only get %2 bumps to stats.

October 2020 and it still works but do this after you beat Lust on Bonelands, this level have a bug if you get there with level 50+ the enemy are going to be very hard, they will kill you with one hit

1-23-2022. I'm on the PS4 and it's not working for me. I only get what I can only guess is the normal amount of souls. I seem to get between 600 to 1000 souls each run.

Please suggest since in various gaming guides they say level up your strength then beating apocalypse difficulty is not a problem... followed the whole 10-15 seconds circling the bus area. did 15-20 seconds. still gives me like a thousand or so lurchers. what mods are you using? read a lot from the comment section. guess everyone's lucky enough unlike me haha. from 1k-11k. means 10 runs. still 0 progress. guess they fixed the glitch now 7/7/2021. sad.

Still works on Xbox 8/29/2020. A little glitchy as to whether or not it works, but there are no negative consequences of doing this besides leveling up your equipment.

09/06/2021 -This has nothing to do with the bus, I did it literally just by running and bringing everybody to the water where they all die. You just need to leave some souls down there and they multiply, went from 2k to 30k in one run.- Okay this has to do with the bus but not making the enemies run through the bus like the video or other comments suggest. All you have to do is run around in that patch behind the bus where the invisible dude is (kill him doesn't change anything) and then bring some enimies with you down to the water where they all die and you'll gain all the souls. Whent from 2k to 30k to 2Mill

This achievement (along with reaching level 100) is fucked up... I'm at the end of my second playthrough, both on Apocalypse (NG and NG+) - level 87 and 67% of souls required... It's working on Xbox One so fuck it - Im going for it. Thank You!😁

Careful with this glitch don't do many times because the game crashes and if you try fast travel it can saws you a profile error and if you don't have a save in the cloud you have to play it all over again. Do it once collect 10 million and it is enough for 150 levels

6/27/2021 still works. Went from 50k-160k then from 160k-1mil. 1mil-6mil. Gonna keep going for at least 10mil so I can hit 100 and buy everything I'll ever need for this game. *update* the very next run I jumped all the way to 33mil, this is insanity😁 I'm pretty certain they're not gonna patch this out. Just follow what is done in video. For me doing 5 laps behind the bus seems to work best.

4.5.2023 still working Tried it on PS5 first, it didn't work there because the game doesn't lag. I then switched to the PS4 and it worked there. I started with 50k, after the first try I had 100k, after the second try 200k and after the third try 7 million. And all this in story mode.

On xbox series X this no longer works. i thought it was because i was using a fortification shard the first few times, but tried it without it, also did the dodging thing in the bus area, and it doesnt work. Im only on my 2nd playthrough tho on Apocalyptic, right after defeating Wrath, and im 90% on the soul achievement so 2 playthroughs you should get this achievement anyway

Tried this on the PS5 for the past hour and a half and no go. Followed everything in the video to the T and still nothing. Did like a 100 laps around the bus 😝 and still not working.
