the show is mesmerizing. A side note on the actress that plays Zilpha ia that her grandfather is Charlie Chaplin.This video is wonderfully done and the music is perfect

@@sadafalizadeh5119 They finally said something about season 2 not airing until 2023 / 2024 which is crazy! It's been 5 years, they will have to come with something good because people have lost interest ( I haven't ) but to wait that long is insane.

@AMT Oh I'm right there with you. As soon as it hits I'm watching. I just hope that Oona Chaplin/ Zilpha is scheduled to appear. I loved her and Tom's chemistry. I also loovvve the "taboo" factor, theyr'e siblings. That too me tops it off as far as the show's content is concerned.

That would be amazing! I really hope they bring her back somehow because honestly their chemistry really made this show compelling and it would be a shame not to follow up with them in season 2, if it ever does get made.

Not that he did magic... but that she survived her jump. I believe it was a "falling from grace" move on her part. Leaving society as she knew it behind and moving on with whatever life had in store for her once she emerged from the waters a new being. Her and James were the only people in water throughout the show. Her in the tub/ him in the lake. The intro is of her and him waying in the water... Water is a symbol of birth/rejuvenation/ revitalization. So she could very much be alive... She even swims to him when she "sings" to him.. Tells him, he will see her again. I would have loved to see he let loose just like James, but the female version of him.. They had so much more story to tell of those two.. Plus they did have a kid... Robert... that was their son (the big secret) so it would have been nice to see how that developed. I mean she didn't even get to see her child... Like I understand Tom doesn't like romance stories.. However, this was his baby and he introduced the love story aspect.. I don't think anyone was crazy about Lorna Bow as a love interest.. More like a business partner...

In his own way he is in the class of Depp as a chameleon. Only way sexier, darker, and so intense. Locke was another outstanding performance.... He, in interviews, always seems a little bemused at his 'fame'.

I don't think she is dead... Even with the last ep. her "death" was very dream like and didn't match the other scenes in the show.. Plus they never show her body... Zilpha was a main character and James's sister... To not show her body... Makes zero sense from a writing standpoint. They could easily bring her back... Her "journey" is to bond Robert, her son... That is their way to bringing her back... If James wants to come along fine, but doesn't matter. Her main objective is to have a relationship with the child she never knew.. The end is them finally becoming a family in a land/world that doesn't know about them...

Objectively speaking...editing, and video source could be a lot better. Refine and hone your skills on learning how to transition voice dialogue and the music's volume in a more palatable way. The source video clips were low quality. Would be great if it was a good 720p source or better. That being said, if that's all you could get your hands on, then I can't really fault you for that. It's all about timing and transitioning, I still have a lot of work to do on that end myself. Keep at it if you enjoy it! Use other's examples as inspiration if you think they did an amazing job and see how you can use it for your own work. Don't let my criticisms feel like this is anything more than to help you get an objective take on your own work from an outsider's perspective. It's easy to miss things on your own work, easier to spot things on someone else's. If you could care less on what I or others think, and you're 100% content with your video, then that's perfectly fine too. Good luck man! Keep at it like I said.

First of all thank you and I never get a criticisms for my videos, this is new :) I know I had a lot to learn but I'm doing videos for fun so it won't get any professional. I wish the video quality were better I know because I would love that too but it can't get better, I never thought about the voice dialogue and the music volume because in my opinion it's fine. But thank you for this :)

These shows like Taboo and Peaky Blinders are so much better than any movie I’ve seen in the past decade. Not a fan of the way the last season of PB ended, not as bad as the sopranos but way too much to be answered in one movie that might be out in 2-3 years. 🤌🏼
