I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, breast, liver lungs and bones. God spoke into my heart, and said, I love you my daughter. I am 71yrs, and have been a believer since 17yrs. The word of God kicked in, and God has carried me through. I was put into a hostel (nursing home) as they believed, I would die. I put my name on Hillsong prayer chain every Sunday. I broke through, and the Drs say I am stable. It is over 18 months now, and I am improving every day. No surgery, No chemo. I am so thankful for that, as I have never been a super strong person. God told me about my future after my husband died, so I knew God would pull me through. I was on the Potter's Wheel. Now I am in the refiner's fire. He is preparing me for the future. I trust Him to fulfill His Word to me and, He will.

"The blood of Jesus runs through my veins" I confess this daily. God bless you Darlene, my worship leader.♥️

I was diagnosed at the same time as her & I can completely relate to everything she said. Stand on the Word and be thankful.

"He did not bring this upon me, but He allowed it, so I can trust Him." Awesome. "It's God will that I live". There is no sickness in Heaven so illness is not from Him. "Cancer is not telling me when my time is up." "no devil in Hell is taking me out."

I'm starting chemo in 2 days and found this video last night. God has been providing His peace little by little as I've tried to prepare for what's ahead (8 treatments over 16 weeks followed by lumpectomy), and your testimony was yet another tool He has used to provide hope. Thank you for being so very real. It's scary but I know I will walk THROUGH this with Him, and I, too, look forward with great anticipation to all He has in store for me and my family in the future.

Darlene... I don't know where to begin. Your life, your gift, your music, your faith....you have been such a wonderful role model in so many ways. The very first solo that I sang in church... I was terrified. But, I chose your song"Shout to the Lord". And during my singing, I realized this was exactly what I was doing at that moment. Once I realized that in my heart, I had a peace and a great confidence that I WAS shouting to the Lord. What a wonderful feeling. A few years later I sang "At The Cross". That was the most spirit filled than I had ever experienced while singing His praises. It moved so many people. I gave all glory to God, and for Him leading me to you. One of the.most wonderful experience for me was to get to see you sing! And from the third row. You were with Joyce Meyer. Who I love. In Indianapolis Indiana. I just cannot explain what a miraculous experience of worshipping with YOU and then feeling the Holy Spirit among us. It brought me to tears . You have been such an inspiration for me to learn true worship, and to be able to share that inspiration everytime I sing one of your songs. I love you dearly as a sister in Christ and in worship.
