Wild pigs… I saw the original Old Yeller on tv before they censored it (70’s) and had read the book prior. Scary critters. My bro in law’s grandpa had free range pigs that turned wild on his farm, I was warned about them and believed every word.

I'm a female in my 70's who deer hunts and does it for the venison. I've taken federal classes to hunt on different federal lands, not just for deer but for geese also. I like eating the meat and I also make things with the venison. You can hunt, not just to shoot and kill animals.

Those little sand plums make a very taste jam, but it comes out about the color of cheap axle grease. A PigBrig® trap doesn't need cellphones or cameras, and NOTHING escapes it. Really good rain coming Wednesday and Thursday, but possible wind issues.

Not all deer hunters go to the extent that you do. That is what makes you so much more different than your typical deer hunter and you the deer hunter/conservationists. Planting food plots is so much more than a way of getting the deer to come to you during deer season. Like you said it gives the deer food throughout the winter time and provides for the deer during the breeding season. This gives the nutrition needed to raise healthy fawns. So much goes into conservation efforts that most people don’t realize the cost in preserving the environment for not only the deer but other wildlife as well. Thank you for showing us what all you do and for doing your part in protecting and promoting wildlife conservation.

Fishing with my son 20 yrs ago, he had a small bass follow his bait in. He was bored so he quit. I decided to pick up his Mickey Mouse rod to just see if I could get the bass to bite. 2 cast later I realized the rod had no drag. Ended up walking waist deep into the pond to meet the fish halfway. Besides being nasty wet, my son claimed the fish saying it was his rod!!😢

Thanks for teaching us all about what bad damage can be done by wild pigs and I just saw the videos about the 4 coyotes. That one with the raw neck damage was probably a Blessing in disguise to be free from future pain. I also saw on Dusty Bakers Ranch that the Bison were not happy with the spotted wild pig interferring with being too close to the Red Dogs. Sad but thats nature n goota keep the chickens n humans safe!!! Be Blessed All!!! Judith

Public speaking is so difficult for most. You and Dejay have done a wonderful job raising your kids. I was thinking how my grandfather hand tilled and planted his fields in his life. He ran his farm till 103 and lived till 105. Those things in life and his stead fast faith in God brought him a great life. I love that you have a tractor with ac instead 😂

What do you do with the trapped pigs? My brother-in-law and his old boss trap pigs when they come onto the boss's land ...they kill a couple to process for their freezers and if there are quite a few the processor takes the extra ones and processes them and gives the meat to the local shelter that feeds the homeless to help them out on their food bill....processor does the same for deer that hunters kill but don't want to keep for the meat
