Hey guys, when I bought my farm of 20 acres it had a 2 acre pond that looked like yours. A soil & water engineer told me to put Carp in pond & it would clean it up. I put in 5 that were about 14 inches long. After 6 months no more junk in pond. After a year pond is clear as tap water. No junk, no muck, no weeds at all. Now they are about 4 ft long. Going strong.

Carp probably would have been cheaper to clean up his pond than to spend a lot of money on what he did. I'm sure that stuff wasn't real cheap

Jamie on I'ma Survivor Sanctuary once said it's harmless but takes days to come off if concentrated. She was warning her older son & his girlfriend before they went out & dyed their pond. I think she was halfway hoping they'd fall in. They luckily didn't but her poor son did get a bit on his face.

The dye will spread on its own, no need to scatter it around. Within a day it will cover the pond. Been using it for years and it works great. They also make dye packs that will dissolve on contact with the water. No-fuss, no muss.

We used to rake out the pond and use the plants hydrilla and algae in compost. It breaks down really fast and made my garden grow very fast and green.

I know this video was made a few days earlier, for the blue dye next time apply Krud Kutter it'll remove the stain/dye, KK will remove it from your clothes as well.

I get that stuff in powder form for my gravel pit swimming hole, but I have limestone so it already has a nice aqua color to it. I love how beautiful it looks.. 🥰👍

You don’t have to pour Aquashade all around the pond. Just pour it out of the jug in one location and overnight it will spread to all areas of the pond. I have used it for years and had great success with it.

Next time around consider using a 2.5gal pump sprayer from any hardware store. The sprayer helps evenly distribute the pond dye when you walk the perimeter. You can get some good distance with the sprayer as well.

We used to take a old bed spring out on a rowboat with a chain attached and drop it in and attach it to our tractor and dredge the pond.

I would think using your little pontoon, dribbling the dye out the front while slowly (?) Circling the pond and crossing as needed, disputing the dye with your motor wash. The same for the pellets, from the middle of your treated area outward.

I recently finished digging a pond on my North Central Idaho property. It is 10 feet deep and is fed by the water table located only two feet below the surface. Its purpose is to provide a water source for helicopter fire suppression. My career is a long-line helicopter fire pilot. The close proximity of a water source is critical to protecting my timbered property and home. Going to try an aquatic herbicide, and dye this spring. Thanks for your video!

We treated our pond with the same stuff in NC, which our friends who fished there referred to as "Tidy Bowl Blue" and joked about looking for the big handle to flush the pond...
