I'm a Spurs fan and I know better than to say Spurs have won the league after 9 games. We won the league after 3 games under Nuno and look how that turned out. The big difference is how they are playing. Under previous managers it was 39% possession and 1 shot on target for the whole game (if we're lucky). We aren't just winning games, we are dominating games; not simply nicking a goal and then parking the bus. Also, Benty's argument is self-defeating. He's saying that the same was said of Arsenal when they were top, but they went on to challenge for the title. So, the argument that Spurs haven't played anyone is equally invalid and they should (in theory at least) go on to challenge for the title. There are other factors, of course that could come into play like lack of squad depth, injuries etc etc. Almost nobody, myself included, expected Spurs to be anywhere near half-way decent. I'll take this enjoyable football all I can get, regardless of where they end up.

Die hard Spurs fan here. Literally jumping the gun.. Don't get me wrong, I am delightful my beloved club is doing well but with just 9 games, a quarter of season passed, knock knock knoc, come on.. too early baby.. It would better make sense if this was to be talked about in somewhere February. As a Spurs fan, I don't want to be deluded and be truthful that it really is a fact that our squad is not strong enough if replacements were inevitable from the starting 11. We just do not have the level of the front 3 to cover when they get injured.. Gutted to admit but it is what it is and I am a reality living fan not a deluded one.

Im a Spurs supporter of some 65 years and I can say that I think that they will not win the Premiership..There is a but. In years gone buy Spurs would have dropped points againt Sheffield Unt, Liverpool, Fulham and lost to Arsenal, Liverpool and even Man Unt....They are a far better unit this season and at this juncture are conceeding less stupid goals ...Top four is the target but lets get to March /April next year before getting too carried away...As an aside Darren Bent should stop sucking lemons when he talks about Spurs..
