2" piece of garden hose sliced along its length, should fit over the horizontal poles and give a nice area to clamp around

You can get different size clamps I had to change them over on my veranda poles so they clamped properly. Or if you were to put them on the other side of the roof pole and up against it, it won’t be able to move hope that makes sense.

Hiya Tony stick a jubilee clip on and tighten it up on the pole in front of the moving section. It’ll not move again 👍🏻Morphy’s Meandering do us a favour and give us a shout👍🏻

Hi Tony and Deb, we have an isabella awning, within the clasp of the pole you get a rubber insert. You could cut to size from a bicycle tyre inner tube, and place within the clasp. This could possibly do the trick. Thanks Gwyn (Rhos on Sea)

Just a bit advice on the condensation in the awning, the calor heaters give off a lot of moisture, it looked like the roof was dripping, hope this helps 👍. Could you maybe get a strip of rubber to place inside the clasp of the awning poles to keep them in place?

All you need to do to stop them. Sliding about is take them off and wrap some tape around the shaft where it clamps on to. Then put them back over and tighten them up

We had the same awning and the same problem with the poles moving - I wrapped some rubber around the pole and tightened the clamp over it, they never moved again after that. Would you give a shout out to my beautiful wife Liz she has had a bit of a rubbish Year she lost her mum 3 months ago so now has to take care of her dad and she has just been made redundant I just want her to know how amazing she is. ❤Another great vlog again from the Tony Addy show ,Tony do you wear rubber gauntlets at work , if so get a pair and cut the fingers off and then wrap around the poles and then put the clamp over and tighten ,better than insulation tape as the rubber will stop from slipping.Another good cooking lesson also ,as to the spots in your awning was it not condensation,your awning is fairly new so shouldn’t need treatment yet ,keep um coming for Sunday entertainment 😂😂

Put some electrical tape on the poles ,to make pole wider so other clamps on the upright poles have some grip,,

Hi deb on the price of gas we have just come of a seasonal pitch nr Morecambe and i got two 7.5 kg safefill cylinders about 200 pound each but if you look around thay can be cheaper and thay have a 10year guarantee i go to morrison and fill up at the lpg pump last week 74 pence a ltr so we did not have a big electric bill because i put htg fridge on gas brilliant carry on caravaning dave

Just wrap several layers of insulation tape on the cross pole to make the pole thicker and then when you tighten the bolt it will then grip onto the tape and won’t move.

Re the water on the inside of your awning, are you aware that about 8 pints of water (condensation) is produced from the average sized gas bottle in a free standing gas heater.

I take it your on metered electric seein as your using gas for your heating. Does it still work out cheaper to use gas? We're here at Donkey Creek Sunny but chilly with a few showers
