I'd rather have a mix of TFU and Jedi Academy gameplay, especially TFU's force combos and Jedi Academy's lightsaber combat. "Jedi's" soul's like combat doesn't feel right unless you have vibro blade instead of actual lightsaber.

Vader would be able to move Malgus so easy with the force, Especially when it took, outlander, and 2 powerful Sith just to restrain him, and then the emperor. althou vader is no doubt stronger in the force. i think malgus would win, because he is simply alot smarter then Vader with his decisions.

I doubt Malgus was the better duelist. Equal footing, most likely, but don't forget Vader was the most fearsome lightsaber duelist ever, and even Palpatine had said Vader was strong enough to kill him (though not to succeed him as a Sith). He still had all his skills from his life as Anakin, but he simply modified it to better accommodate his decrease in agility and enhanced strength. His blows were largely more conservative and brutal as a result. Also, unlike other Sith, Magus included, Vader could channel his pain that he felt every day into his abilities, which made him even stronger because it helped him focus. If the duels between Vader and Obi-Wan and his later duel with Ahsoka were anything to go by, we only saw a small sample of what he could do throughout most of the franchise as a Sith.

I have one argument which is decissive: Malgus has force lighting. Vader stomps. He even could win this fight if Malgus dont have that skill, but no. Force lighting is deadly for Vader

Back in those times, things were certainly different, things could turn on a dime,and often had been unpredictable. Who was Darth Bane? Darth Zannah? I don't know a whole lot of the historical fiction of Jedi Knights of the Old Republic,but one thing is clear..... Darth Vader certainly had been seriously been the OG Dark Lord of Verizon himself. Darth Malgus had been virtually unstoppable from his time frame. An era where rules,laws, regulations,and even the Old Republic had no bounds whenever it came to politics. And war. And supporting the economic growth, impact,and long before there was such a thing as the Trade Federation. It's funny how Darth Vader had THOSE kind of out-of-this-world powers. Even though it's just a video game, it's one of the best there was, besides Battlefront.

Disney Star Wars died when Lucas sold it and put Kathleen Kennedy in charge. You will never see good Star Wars ever again. No not even Mando season 2 counts. It's all style and no substance. But of course people get excited and cry seeing Luke take out some Dark Troopers. Same thing in Ahsoka with Anakin supposedly coming back and dueling with her ruining Star Wars lore even more. Disney simply doesn't know how to make good products anymore when it comes to Star Wars, Marvel, their animated stuff or god forbid their remakes. Don't expect anything even remotely close to this from Disney.

Power scaling needs to come into play here. Vader took multiple torrents from Palpatine, one of the better people to employ the skill. Malgus looks to be on par with Dooku in his skill level with it. Taking that into account, I think it's fair to say that Vader may have a chance to deflect, or parry the lightning. Malgus is stronger and faster, in better shape physically and is not as hampered as Vader is. However, I believe Vader is a hell of a lot smarter than Malgus. His strength in the Force is also arguably better than Malgus. I think Vader is the more adept swordsman of the two. Also, what's been proven many times with Vader, is that if you're not able to get under his skin in an emotional way (Palpy, Luke, Obiwan and so on), then you're going to get Vader at his coldest and most calculated. The only time he tends to make mistakes is when someone gets to him or more appropriately, Anakin. Vader isn't a true Sith, his reasons for falling to the darkside are a sort of anomaly and with it, he wields the Darkside in a far different manner than a lot of Sith. I think at the end of it all, both of them in the peak of their power, Vader would end up walking out of the conflict. But, it wouldn't be quick and it Vader would walk out as messed up as ever from the conflict. Malgus will kick the shit out of Vader for a good majority of the fight but Vader will bide his time and wait for openings, then bulldoze forward when he has one. I think that it will take a lot of chipping away and Vader exploiting Maglus's pattern of getting wild and busting forwards. Let's face it, practically everyone moves better and faster than Vader. It's nothing he hasn't faced before as either Anakin or his current self and I think that's going to be the ultimate factor: Malgus fights, and strategizes like a Sith would. Vader does so how Vader would.

I would prefer to see Vader win. So many videos and stories have been written by fans and pros alike. Their idea of greatness? Beating Vader. Why? Doing so sort of takes a piss on the canon. What have we not had in a full length game? Vader as the main player character. The chosen one, Anakin Skywalker, Vader, as an absolutely unstoppable agent of the dark side. I do not want a game where I beat Vader. I want a title where I play Vader with all of his galaxy crushing force. Not remorseful Vader, Darth Vader. Vader before redemption.
