Unfortunately there are not that many fan made movies that are at this level.

This girl experienced more hardship, showed more character and emotion, and had more growth and development in 15 minutes than Rey did in 2 films. I was genuinely rooting for her even though I knew it couldn't end well for any of the Jedi. I actually cared about her. I actually wanna see a story of a Jedi like _her._ Even though I knew she would lose, and likely even die, that look she gave Maul before they fought... it gave me _chills._

Palpatine was so cold in his youth, he merked his whole family to impress his Sith master Darth Plagueis. Read or listen to the audiobook (Star Wars: Darth Plagueis 2012) If they made that into a TV series, it would be on the same lever or even better than Game of thrones.

I don't think there are any other fan films like this one, I've only seen other edited videos of people having lightsaber & blaster-gun fights with all the VFX added and I remember one video of an airport that had X-Wings, tie fighters and other ships landing and taking off that were amazing but nothing like Apprentice story-wise.

It’s amazing how well he (Darth Maul’s actor) portrays his thoughts through facial expressions, even with that much makeup on. You can tell at the end that he is contemplating whether he should kill her, he hesitates and you see the anger leave his face; when he sees the Imperial ship (most likely Palpatine’s) he’s reminded that he doesn’t have a choice in the matter, and that it’s his “duty”; when he sees how angry the Jedi is, he’s reminded of his hatred and disgust for them, and decides to cut her down. It’s amazing.

My explanation is for the mere fact that he had power to corrupt people. Thanos did genocide and that is indeed one of the most horrific things you can do, he cared at the end of the day. He said, "the hardest choices require the strongest wills." Palpatine on the other hand, found a person's weakness and used it against them. Even having them question their morals and eventually turning them to the dark side. The fact you can corrupt someone's will is power.

You would LOVE Palpatine at 22 man. He was a ladies man and an up-and-coming politician. He was smooth, savvy, perceptive, and charming as all hell. Darth Bane trilogy: If you think Darth Vader is badass, you need to meet Darth Bane. He is Darth Vader + Darth Sidious all in one villain. He's enormous and intimidating and powerful just like Vader, BUT he's also cunning, deceitful, and wise like Darth Sidious. He even uses his appearance as a "big dumb brute" to throw his enemies completely offguard so that they never see his masterful plans coming until its too late. Darth Maul: Lockdown: Maul goes to prison. It ends like you think it does! :P

You guys should certainly react to the animated *_Star Wars Clone Wars_* series!!!! More Anakin, more Palpatine, Yoda, Ventress, etc. The storyline is excellent. The choreography is outstanding. And there are stakes/risks involved. You get to learn a lot from the back stories of all of the main Star Wars characters. This has five seasons and lost missions you can react to. Plus, it would be great prep work for the upcoming season 6!!!!

You guys should check out star wars old republic: rescue mission. It's audio is kinda low when the people talk but it has one of the best representations of Darth Revan outside of the kotor games

To answer the "What Palpatine was with his master." We know a little bit of it when he tells Anakin about the "Tragic Story of Darth Plagueis the Wise" Plagueis was Palpatine's master and Palpatine killed him in his sleep (if you just watch the story he tells) Overall (That was Canon before Disney but right now I have no clue). As said it's only to show that we, know just a little bit about it but not a whole lot I would also want to see what was he scheming and planning and how he was younger.

Christopher Nolan's Joker did the same thing with Harvey Dent. He was Gotham's White Night and the Joker corrupted him because his weakness was Rachael. Once she died, it changed him and the fact Joker and the same can be said for Palpatine, they didn't really force people to come to the dark side or commit crime. It was their choice. They had the will and sought to turn or act on the dark side. Lol my thoughts keeps going. Either way, Palpatine was a better villain than Thanos TO ME
