No contest. Battles like this, it's all force powers. As long as his suit's power source holds to sustain his organic components, Vader can repel zombies indefinitely.

I'm not sure which fate here would be worse - the planet being overrun by zombies or being saved from them by Darth Vader, because, well, the zombies are gone, but now your planet is under the control of Darth Vader.

The computer is most likely right on this one. Plus we have to consider the armor. Both legs= metal plus armor. Chest= armored also. Both arms= armored and I think one hand is steel/metal. Also all those materials are Star Wars Universe material, not your Grandpa's 20th century stainless steel. Head= armored helmet. Even if they can get close enough to bite, the Zombies are clamping down on future metal while getting lightsabred and force pushed. Plus it's only a human strength bite. Even if Vader got overwhelmed, he'd still be able to dig out without too much trouble and no damage. Also the computer is saying that the force push deanimates/kills zombies as well as propelling them great distances, this is the clincher.

Vader wouldnt be so lame to get surrounded, from a distance he would utilize the sand into a sandstorm (maybe), upheave and send rocks in a barrage as in Kenobi or form a barricade of sorts to narrow the passageway for the zombs to get to him. Definitely not run towards them.

There's a Star Wars comic book in which Vader is exposed to an ancient dark side-empowered zombie virus. All his teammates, from stormtroopers to a super-hazmat'ed scientist studying the virus, get infected and zombified, because the virus, being force-based, doesn't care for physical barriers and crosses them as if they aren't there. The virus does nothing to Vader, who just mocks the scientist, while he's screaming mid-zombification, for having believed a mere technological suit, advanced as it might be, would have protected him from infection. He then proceeds to try to obtain the amulet that allows the creation and control of the dark-side zombie virus, as it'd be a useful weapon in the Empire's arsenal.

Vader would get very bored of this and would find a more efficient way to deciminate the zombies, with that many and they force he could make a literal wall of a million bones, rotate it at the speed of sound (or just under) and a stroll would decimate the 1mil zombies lol

Vader is employing a Roman soldier technique of focusing on clearing the space immediately around him, but with the added range of his Force abilities. He is systematically clearing the space around him regularly one at a time in four directions. He hardly uses or needs the lightsaber, as his principal weapon is a telekinetic attack that rips apart all adversaries in the target area. His running into combat is out of character; he tends to move very slowly and deliberately most of the time, and I would expect him to conserve his energy when facing such a large number of foes; otherwise, the outcome is about what I would expect.

Does not account for fatique, also the light saber is only 3 to 5 feet/90 to 150 cm, long, so each swing would take out 5 to 20 zombies. Even a Darth Vader couldn't cover 360 degrees for 200,000 swings at 40 per minute for 3 to 5 days. This doesn't include the pile of body parts that would make fighting harder to stand on!

I think he is using the force to destroy those 50 zombie at a time. The light saber wouldn't be throwing them around, it would just cut thru them. Besides even cut in half they would still be able to grab him, etc... No, he is using the force to destroy their brains, and throw them away form him.

Imagine if the Empire was able to corral up a few thousand zombies and released them a day before invading a planet or a rebel stronghold. They would cause chaos and soften up the enemy before the ground force would go in. It would make the stormtroopers job much much easier.

@@geoff9759 The armor couldn’t protect them from the Ewoks’ clubs so I doubt it would help much. I think there was a hiccup in the translator between Basic and English- “plastoid” must mean “paper” in English. 😀

Unrealistic. In reality Vader would use the force to levitate above them so he could take his time. Or he would run away and kill them as he ran from them. Why would anyone allow themselves to be surrounded if they had the force?
