Darth Vader’s suit is not only outdated heavy and built to beep at ransoms times. It was also designed to be painful, stuffy, and easily compromised by electric shock. In total it was designed to be uncomfortable to sit still in, painful to move in by stabbing into him, difficult to operate, all so he would be constantly exhausted and in pain while never allowing him to fully sleep.

Ngl it's really annoying for Nux to act like force feats don't count. Was it NOT still Vader who did those things? Also if you strip him of the force he literally has no actual powers, just his lightsaber, suit and skill. If you were to strip him of force powers you might as well strip Obito of everything except his weapon, outfit and skill too. How is it a fair fight if you give one their mystical powers that come from outside themselves but NOT the other? That's like having a battle with a Dragonball character then saying they can't use Ki or that Ki based attacks don't count because they're "not physical".

While the force isn’t physical strength, they’re are those who are better at using it than others for physical reasons. It is literally stated that Anakin had more potential than Yoda because of his Midochlorian (forgive me if I spelt that wrong) count being higher. This makes it possible to scale feats between force users because there are those that are built different.

Honestly, I was really hoping that just before Obito swung the DNA sword, the suit would beep and enrage Vader enough to break through the Infinite Tsukuyomi...

So one note, the Force does give Observation Haki in a sense, but it also physically boosts physical feats. Force Speed and Force Jump are powers where the user channels the Force into empowering themselves to achieve metahuman levels of feats like leaping over several stories, or running faster than Blaster Fire. So Vader does have Lightspeed options.

Why does Nux insist on being like "no, you can't take that specific feat literally, he might win if you do"

Your point about the force giving Vader precognition to block the attack is really up to interpretation, since we don't know how far into the future Vader can see/be told. If it told him where the bullet was after it was fired then yes that's a lightspeed feat. If it told him before the bullet was fired then it's not a lighspeed feat.

I tried reading about different Darth Lords apart from Vader by the nanosecond I was informed that his suit is essencialy a constant torture device to make him be at the peak of his rage all the time I put him permanently at No. 1

The one thing I don't agree with is how in Vader's feats they included him bodying both The Daughter and The Son. For those not in the know, those two are the physical manifestations of the Light and Dark sides of the Force. That is a Universe-scale feat which trumps *everything* in Naruto (or Borito) and it gets completely glossed over by the analysis.

Alright, no hate, but isn’t saying that Vader’s feats are not applicable because he’s using the Force instead of his own physical strength the same as saying that Obito’s feats are not applicable because he’s using chakra instead? It’s like saying that Gandalf - a wizard - using magic shouldn’t count towards his feats. But magic is a legitimate part of his arsenal, just like the Force is for Vader and chakra is for Obito.

funny thing is, vader HAS broken free from a infinite tsukuyomi-esk illusion. i believe it was early on in his career, palpatine sent him to find a kyber crystal and overpower it. the crystal he found gave him a vision on a what if scenario of him doing things right. however, Vader's rage was too great and he overpowered the illusion.

The thing about sith that they're very myopic about, is that they can use ALL emotions to channel the force. Sith end up using rage and hatred as their point of force channeling because they are theologically opposed to the beliefs of the jedi, who believe in supressing their emotions and using cold logic to make desicions. The sith only lose because they tunnel vision to power, when they could be so much more powerful. Joy, happiness, sorrow, love are all on the table for sith to use.

The force does help in figuring out where a laser blast will hit, however, Vader has piloted a star destroyer in hyper space while barely using the force to help him see the future, so he's at least around at light speed. Also, the force is a living creature, and in those comics you mentioned, it's stated by the force that Vader literally can not die unless he kills palpatine. The Force itself admited to giving Vader plot armor, and not only that, but the force itself created an illusionary world for Vader that he broke out of, Vader broke out of infinite power and a perfect illusion. The comics for Star Wars go absolutely wild at times. I should also mention that the average human in star wars is capable of dodging lasers, according to the guide books the blaster do shoot at light speed, so if Han Solo can dodge light, surely Vader can. But also, not only has Vader broken out of something akin to infinite tsukiyomi, according to the wiki Obito can't even use Infinite tsukiyomi.

The Regeneration makes the outcome obvious. And the insane amount of Ranged attacks Obito has that he can just spam till Vader dies.

Even if you know where you're gonna be shot at, It doesn't mean you can dodge from that knowing that something is going to happen and being quick enough to react to it are totally different skills What's the point of knowing that a laser as fast as the light is about to hit you if you're not fast enough to react to it? Even if you can see the future, being able to react to something like that it's still a HUGE feat of reaction speed

If they count Obito's basically God form they should also count Darth Vader's god form from the comics when he became one with the dark side, I think, because I remember he had a transformation.

The Force CAN be used to increase ones physical attributes like reaction speed and strength, it can also be used as a form of foresight.

So with that said, how is Obito coughing out blood anyway? If Vader at least punched Obito or physically crushed his chest with his mechanical hands to cause internal bleeding, I would believe that, but a lightsaber stab doesn't ever cause blood to spill or someone to cough out blood.

Vader according to lore has some pretty crazy feats Nux. Like in the movies the blaster laser may seem slow but they are actually light speed and well it could just snowball from there

Force effect (on reflexes and such) depends on the user, for some they get vague inclinations of a direction to avoid, some see entire battles before they happen, some basically go demon hunter and follow the string, and some boost both their actual mind and senses, then stack on precognition… so… basically the better the jedi you are the stronger the effects you bring to bear. Oh, also, its cannon that the force gives actual plot armor to those it favors… like measurable levels of luck realignment.

Nux already pauses a lot so he should really read those black boxes. They mention that Obito apparently lost the ability to phase with Kamui likely due to his body's Ninjutsu immunity. They also mention other characters with lightspeed feats for both Vader and Obito. Among many other things.

(maybe the hunt went on longer. i forget how long it was) with vader dying and the admiral nearly voice chocked to death. after that. the two have had mutual respect for each other. also none of the bounty hunters made it

The Rinnegan's ability to rip out people's souls can be resisted also Nature Energy is literally the Force so Vader should have been able to use it to block and possibly destroy the Truth Seeking Orbs also the Juubi is a mindless beast so Vader would have been able to control it via the Force

So about the moon thing, as far as I'm aware one's ability to do anything with the force is dependent on the strength of one's connection to the force. In so that if you're will/connection is good enough, size itself loses meaning (hence the meaning behind that iconic phrase). So I think it makes sense to calculate that stuff, because I don't think all Jedi or even force users are made equal (because otherwise, what was Obi Wan's excuse for not hurling starships at people? Or any of the other Jedi during the golden age when shit hit the fan?)

Classicman D did a Video short of debunking Darth Vader vs Obito. Showing proof of why Vader should have won against Obito. I personally don't like the Death Battle, if you like it, so be it, but people keep on ignoring or getting information wrong about these two. -Obito don't have access to the 10 tails. If he did, he would have summoned it out of the Reanimated Hokage's trap or out of the hole that the Shinobi alliance made. -Vader bring down two universal being down to the ground, by using the force. Obito have done nothing like that. -Vader have quicker reactions speed and would have use the force to crush Obito's eyes.(Which they show doing during the battle) No, Obito can't react that fast, if he did he would have destroyed the Rinnegan before Madara react him. Minato proof that if Obito can't react fast enough, he can get hurt. When use the flying Raigin to slash Obito's body. -Ten Tail Obito isn't a form that Obito can access. Giving him that form is getting outside help, which is against their rules.

Honestly Vader comics makes him so much cooler. I know in a recent one he became Dark Dimension Vader. Absolutely badass.

One thing people forget is that Vader can without a doubt read Obito's every thought and even Obito's movement it even happens due Obito not having ability to shield his mind. Whatever Obito tries to plan up vader will just counter it before it ever happens. It's very looked over by death battle however unfortunately. You could say Obito can see through Vader's movement too but nowhere near the same league due to Vader being able to read his actual thoughts.

i saw a comment on the original on how tsukoyomi basically gave vader back everything he wanted, his body padme and her love, essentially robbing him of all his hatred. which would leave him without the force.

So like here’s the thing. 1 why does it matter if a “reaction” feat is bolstered by precognition. In the end he reacted to an attack the speed of light. Now if the opponent has a counter to negate it then I could see a point, or if the boost is temporary or limited then also point had. But Vader always has the force at his side. Also the strength feat of moving moons is also valid. Sure it isn’t physical arm strength but that level of power is at his disposal. It would be disingenuous to not take it into consideration. And secondly about the “artistic interpretation” argument. The moment you start taking that into account the calculations become meaningless because I could say that the punch clash between goku and the destruction god is creative interpretation and thus shouldn’t be considered at all. Nah he only has the strength to push a small suv like in original dragon ball. Whether or not it was creative interpretation or the writer wanting a cool scene, the moment you add it to the story that is canon. Love the videos but I feel like you are barking up the wrong tree from time to time. Not always and the fact you have done your own research is admirable. But they really should l, almost have to, keep any potential bias out of it because then this whole series would fall apart.

I'm happy to see Nux's reaction to this episode, cause even though I'm totally biased, this is still my favorite episode of the season. I really appreciate how they handled Vader in the fight being this nearly unstoppable moving force, and I always love when Death Battle does emotional/mercy kills. This was Devilartemis' last Death Battle fight animation in his style before moving to Blender for Frieza vs Megatron, and just like that fight, he absolutely killed it with this one. But yeah, been loving Nux's reaction to Death Battle and would gladly like to see more, maybe clean up with the rest of the season like Cole Vs Alex, Chosen Undead vs Dragonborn, and Guts Vs Dimitri. Don't know if he's interested in the other non-anime Death Battles, but going back to see other fights from the last seasons like Saitama vs. Popeye, Sauron vs Lich King, and many more Edit: Oh, I also would LOVE to see his reaction to Obi-Wan vs Kakashi

So, not so much in disney’s New lore, but, different light saber cores actually do have different effects, and one thing that they failed to touch on is that Vader actually kept a few unique trophies from his kills, in particular, one lightsaber that would, had he used it, caused any wound upon the enemy’s soul to be eaten away, at the expense of it slowly burning his own lifeforce down, permanently reducing his connection to the force (and thus why he never used it in-canon, because he never faced a true threat while it was on him)
