I still hate Vader for killing him.

This thinking although is logical, is flawed nonetheless within the star wars universe. George Lucas has stated before that when he says balance, it's not a literal "all Jedi must be killed and all sith," or "one Jedi and one sith only". Because at the end of Rotj Luke is a Jedi and yet there are no sith. He even rebuilds the Jedi order in legends. Disney tried that whole "literal balance" thing with this new trilogy and it's just complete bs in my opinion.

I thought bringing balance to the force meant he ended the conflict between dark & light sides which was causing disturbance in the force....both light & dark side was in war in clone wars. And he ended the conflict by killing almost all the jedis & finally sidius & himself too thus creating a balance.

When Luke approached Obi-wan, what was the first thing he did? Start training him to confront Vader and Sidious. You can say he rushed things along because of Leia, but for what? Obi-wan and Yoda hadn't stepped foot on the inner planets in years. They didnt care about the republic or the people of the "republic". They cared more about destroying the Sith and avenging the fallen Jedi than they did restoring the galaxy. Luke had real potential and had Obi-wan not tried to speed run his training, he may not have lost against vader in their first battle. He may have defeated Vader outright, especially if he already knew it was his father. They may have defeated the Sith without the thousands of deaths on both sides during the battles of hoth, yavin, endor, Etc. By the end of Episode II the Jedi were as blinded by the emotions as the sith were empowered by theirs.

@@strycaboy Kylo murdered his Dad and Rey is a whole different sandbox than a Skywalker Luke and Anikan are kind of the same but in the end Vader did in fact bring balance he killed off most Jedi and the Sith brought in Adepts while the Jedi in Canon and Legends still had Padawans and Knights all over the Galaxy so in a quite literal sense he is the chosen one but before Disney got rid of basically all Canon Novels and Comics Luke would train new Jedi in the ways of both light and dark and so that'd make him the chosen one but since Disney skewed that idea it would fall upon good Ole Vader sorry just how it is there's no balance to be brought in the new movies Snoke is dead Luke is dead that just leaves Rey and Kylo as the only force sensitive beings that practice one side so again Anikan is the Chosen One undeniably

I still wish they would make a what if series, where Palpatine is found out, and the Jedi realized they are pushing Anakin too hard and break traditions to help him. Which then turns into a weird amalgamation of Some Siths (Namely Maul, and Dooku), some clones, and Jedi, _VS_ Palpatine, mind controlled clones, Seperatist forces all fighting around the order 66 activation. I think it would be a cool premise.
