Mervin King comes across very bitter when James Wade wins. Most players would celebrate like that when winning a title in those circumstances. He even apologises multiple times.

Mervin King is one of the sourest losers I have every seen in darts. Hugely dislike the dude. Grumping old sack that has no sportsmanship in my eyes. Losing is never fun but at least show some respect instead of wining all the time. Awesome that Wade win with such a comeback. Needless to say, well deserved.

Phil Taylor HAS MADE MVG and every other player to raise there game ! 1 Man has changed his whole sports standard ! As Manchester United Did to the Premier League ! And that pains me to say that ? Like Adam peaty in swimming ! And Bolt in Sprinting ! And O'Sullivan in Snooker ! All Super Stars ! And Phil Taylor is up there with these Greats he really is ! And anybody who disagrees ? Knows nothing about sport ! A true Game Changer !

I would ay bristow was jhst as big at raising the standards as taylor. If he didn't get that dartitis he sound have won another couple of World titles at least. Plus I'm not sure bolt raised ths standard coz no one will get to the standard that'd just once in a life time but I would t out taylor up there with the greats. Unfortunately he didn't really have any real treats u til mvg came on the scene in 2013. At leady that's when he started playing like a real star when he beat taylor in the Premier league. Mvg has more pdc titles and more 9 darters and today's game with the avreges and checkouts that get hit now really is insane and imo makes it a lot harder. Would taylor have won all that if he was starting off now, I think not.

Do the scorers actually count off what they see or is someone telling them through an ear piece?

The scorers listen to the referee telling the scores and mark them on the paper, subtracting the score from the points left

@@jamestxi yes, their job is incredibly difficult! They add upp the scores, call them out loud and at the same moment they have to check the score of the other player to know where they are going to throw

Even King‘s wife looks unsympathetic.. he‘s just a brick who will never reach ANYTHING It needs a clear Statement from wade after the match that this has nothing to do with sportsmanship and respect, maybe king get it then..
