Scottie with the compelling chemistry of manipulating Harvey into cheating/constantly playing games for his attention while he shoved her away, or the therapist Paula who, while struggling with insecurity and past betrayals, was willing to date an ex-patient who was clearly mutually in love with his secretary. My favorite anti-Darvey sentiment is that their relationship was fanservice, as if the lead up behaviors to their romance was imagined, or fans somehow pressured the writers to drop Paula, who in reality was introduced to the show *after* the writers themselves had decided Darvey was endgame 😂. Stay mad, haters.

Pero en inglés también tiene dos expresiones diferentes para distinguir sentimientos. "Te amo" y "Me gustas" - "I love you and I like you" - la primera expresión se centra en los sentimientos del corazón. El segundo se centra en la admiración por ese o por un amigo. Aunque la expresión "te amo" se usó porque, de hecho, Donna estaba enamorada de Harvey. ¡Tanto es así que se materializa en las últimas temporadas!

If I were Donna, I would not come back but use this to finally change her life. Their relationship is codependent and unhealthy. She is dangerously loyal to Harvey to a fault. She is also in one sidedly in love with him and he enjoys being the object of her attention and affection. But, simultaneously, she is invisible to him. He has everything, not her. But, he really believes she/they have everything just becoz he does. That is so selfish and insensitive. I have been in this situation in real life and it is such a hurtful and suffocating place to be. It is not about pride. A tiny bit of it might be about dignity, but other than that it is about getting out of such an unhealthy relationship. You can love someone so much and yet them being so selfish and insensitive will suffocate the life out of you. Donna is smart, confident, experienced. She would have found work elsewhere. And maybe the distance would have helped her get over Harvey.

@ Prudence Ray: Clearly THIS many people will not be shipping Darvey if Harvey didn't feel that way for Donna. Provided we're watching the SAME show--you need to go back and re-watch a LOT of episodes where Harvey does everything he can to save and protect Donna--where Harvey is a MESS without Donna--WHY?? Why did he run ALL over telling EVERYONE he cares about "this woman"--in reference to Donna?? Because she's EVERYTHING to him. Harvey is deathly scared of letting anyone get THAT close--especially Donna. If he lets Donna all the way in--their relationship is compromised.

@@zoefang4563 This! Harvey wasn't the type to show emotion, especially early on in the show. What you got from him was action. He showed his love for Donna through action. He literally risked it all for her. From doing everything in his power to save her, risking his entire career and licence for her, committing blatant crimes (obstruction of justice) for her, getting rid of someone he's dating for her. Donna, I think, knew this and that's why I think she kept faith with him for so long. He just wasn't emotionally ready to accept all the feelings that letting her in to that extent would bring. They had a complicated relationship, sometimes that happens.
