he's just incredibly unlucky. One might wonder if he's just aiming too close to the corners, but whenever he doesn't, keepers pull off incredible saves to deny him. Other than that, he's doing everything right, so LFC fans love him. An absolute chaos which bring havocs to backlines. He's improved in creating chances too by being less selfish compared to his first season.

Lol it isnt unlucky when you consistently miss the target and underperform your xG by huge amounts. Hes lucky he plays for liverpool because if he didn't get as many chances as he did with his awful conversion rate he would be on 2 or 3 goals. To put it into perspective, Hojlund has the same number of non penalty goals this season in over 70+ less shots.

I found some stats that say he's hit the woodwork 9 times in the PL. The next nearest are a number of players who've hit the goal frame 3 times, including Trent. He's also taken more shots than anyone else - 78 compared with Salah's 65 (that may not include today).
