absolutely agree with you . yes he misses a lot of chances but the way he plays Is like no other striker. I would love for him to stay at the club, I will keep on believing in him. imagine if we sell him and he starts shining in another club and becomes a top player there, we would regret it for the rest of our lives that we sold a top player and a beast he could turn into. Exactly man! He’s 24 and he has a lot to offer! To be honest I think him playing of the wing he’s better. He has the pace to take people on. One more year we keep supporting him and see where we land!

I agree.Darwin nunez is a fantastic player and a great addition to Liverpool if it wasn't him Liverpool could have lost to Newcastle 1-0 but nunez stepped in and helped liverpool to get 2 goals i the span of few minutes any one could have missed both goals.and the time he won 1-0 with nottim and he is just the best and he gives his best.everyone is hating for nothing but they forget that some players havent even scored a goal(looking at you gomez).darwin nunez just needs support and help and to be honest it will be a bad,the worst decision to let nunez go.i am going to be really angnry at the fans if nunez leaves he is my faviroute player and i dont want him to leave.i fully support you Darwin Nunez.

@@thefootballstorey the thing is that there are parts of this season where he's obviously been frustrated, but his record actually speaks for itself! He's shown that he's not a penalty box striker, he's an all rounder who can literally put the ball in from anywhere, in any fashion! Smooth the edges off a bit and we'll have a world beater. I'd rather that happens with us than another team, because we don't want to have to talk about the 'might have been' scenario!

“Goal contribution” is such a cop out. He was brought in to score goals. Assists will never be held to the same regard as putting the ball in the net, when you’re talking about a 65 million dollar number 9. Not good enough.

I agree but what would you take as a fair goal tally for a player that doesn’t take penalties. Salah has and always will be Liveprools so main goal threat. I think 15 in the league would be good excluding pens and he’s at 11 so work to do but I think he has another level

I completely disagree with the fans that are abusing Darwin. That´s just disgraceful. But I wouldnt feel bad if he leaves. I don´t think he got it in him to become a worldbeater. When I think of a worldbeater I think of a suarez, salah in his prime, even injury prone sturridge. Those were world beating strikers. I believe Nunez is top of the charts with big chances missed. Yes if we were playing to reach top 4 he might be a player we need. But as a club that wants to compete for titles I don´t think he´s got it in him certainly not a starter at liverpool.

I have no sympathy for Nunez. He gets his name sung louder than anyone at our games and he doesn't even deserve to. If a few of our foreign glory hunter fans have attacked him he should have just blocked them.

Dude if he was 20 21 I could understand but he’s closer to his “prime years” rather than 20 🤣 remember the good strikers at 24? Majority of them by now have found their feet and are on there way to good goal numbers. Darwin shows no sign of improvement in this area. The potential is there but he’s been here 2 years nearly and very little improvement scoring wise. We aren’t asking him to score every weekend but really in the positions he gets in to score then he has to score. When salahs daughter of 3 or whatever can score from the pen spot and hit the net and target atleast then what’s Nunezs excuse for an open one with no players round him? Do your maths lol

Incorrect mate. Look at mane & firmino at 24 and they had more or less the same stats. In 16/17 mane had 18 g/a as did firmino. How did they develop in the end? Youre memory is fading you brother because not every player is world class at 24 just like some of greatest ever players weren’t 👍🏼
