I am so grateful for Pastor Coley ,I used the song, He,s Preparing Me.when I proclaimed my first sermon .on April 18th,1993.RIP. I am still enjoying his music and l am still serving God.Apostle Dr. Naomi C.Cooley .The Chosen Ministry. and The Apostles Ministries Fellowship INC. Praise the Lord.At this season of my life outreach Ministries is what I am called to do,after many years as Pastor in Churches.Pastor D.Coley music help me through many things.God bless him for when Sunday Come.

Gone but never forgotten!!!! There are many psalmist, there are lots of pastors but there will never be another one like Daryl Coley. He will be greatly missed, but the praise party just got better up in Glory!!!!! RIP, till we meet again. Amen

Wow!!!!.....I remember back in the day singing this in choirs. We would pray and fast, concentrate your life, and watch the anointing of the Holy Ghost /aka/ Holy Spirit flow!!! Praying for real revivals to come back to America, especially. People in countries that persecute people for Christianity are true disciples. I have listened to voice of Daryl Coley for many years. The first song I heard was He's Preparing Me. It played on the radio and as I listened, I knew it was meant for me to hear because at that time I was going through some tremendous struggles in my life. This song will forever be etched in my memory along with the voice of Daryl Coley which helped me understand and get through those trying times. Thank you Daryl and God bless your spirit that has now ascended to be with Him. You have and will always be a part of my life. Rest In Peace.

+Jeaniel Clement I pretty much have the same testimony as you regarding Daryl Coley and THAT particular song. It completely ministered to me. I knew when I heard "He's Preparing me" by Rev. Coley, who wasn't Rev. then, that GOD was ministering to me through that song and truly preparing me for great and might things. THANK YOU, REV. DARYL COLEY, FOR ALLOWING GOD TO USE YOU FOR THE UP BUILDING OF HIS KINGDOM AND EDIFYING HIS CHURCH!! GOD SPEED MY BROTHER IN CHRIST...I WILL MEET YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE FOR I KNOW GOD HAS PREPARED A PLACE FOR YOU!!!

His gift was unmistakable! I had the privilege of meeting him before he was a household name at a church that I shared a testimony at. I fell in love with his voice when he sang with James Cleveland's choir with "Chariot (is a Comin')" but didn't know it until years later. I have both of his Light Records projects. Amazing! RIH

Every time I view this video my soul cries HALLELUJAH!!!! The Daryl Coley ~ none like him, he sang that thing, his spirit is electrifying !! It was such a blessing to see the choir so in tune with him and those young men spirit blessed my soul! The musicians were awesome, too! This video is a tremendous blessing. I only hate I was not there to experience this in person.

I'ts important to remember this earlier version - the orchestration and DC's incomparable vocals lay a blueprint that everyone can come beside, but can never surpass. Lady JCM has made the song her own, and the West A crew has set the bar high - but these chords and movements definitely planted healthy seeds that have kept this song current for quite some time.
