Joe is one of the coolest American guitarists. I’ve been a fan of his since the mid 70’s. To say he had an influence on the Eagles is an understatement. I’m so glad he survived his substance abuse demons that so many greats had but didn’t make it.

I love Joe, I’m a massive fan of him as a musician and a man, he’s fantastic, and man he makes his guitars sing, and watching him here and all the guys absolutely loving playing with him, the interplay, the smiles and how tight it all sounds, bloody fantastic

In 1975 i was 15 years old, based in Austria. I met a Canadian guy, who was on holidays and he gave me as a present the Album Joe Walsh - The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get. Now I have all on vinyl. James Gang aso. I love all albums of James Gang and the solo records of Joe Walsh But I still have not only one record of the Eagles. I will survive it... 😎BTW: Rocky Mountain Way is not only just another of my favorite rock songs. And THIS Vid is pure sensation. THANKS SO MUCH, DARYL "The living Legend" HALL. All best and big hugs round this crazy ball called earth from Austria! (Maybe this "ball" is "flat" - I don´t know, and it doesn't matter at all)

I think that was my most favorite performance of Rocky Mountain Way ever, and it was a first take!!! The Rocky Mountain Way really was better than the way we had!!

I don't know how recent this was but it looks recent enough. For such a hard road he's been down, I didn't realise how well Joe could still perform; solos as well as ever, still singing great and hitting the notes in the original key, it's fantastic.

The talkbox is such a nice touch in this song. Could've been just one giant solo section but using the talkbox turned it into two solo sections allowing for more creativity and freedom. Genius.

Love this song and Joe Walsh certainly is every bit as good now, as in yesteryear one of the true legends , as is Daryl, Daryls house is a fantastic outlet for classic musicians, who can play their instrument and sing their songs (imagine that), I'm amazed at how well Daryl adapts to every musician he plays with, just a fantastic show, these guys inspired me to write and play my own songs, I'm in a two piece band, Check out Two River Band, 'Red Light' on You Tube, nowhere at the level of Daryl. Or Joe were two older Irish guys no need of fame, just hope you enjoy the song.

You are better than I saw you when I was a kid!!! And Mr. Hall: there really aren't words to describe the huge role you played in my suburban dreams to play rock, and, who knows, become a star.....I'm an aged Philly guy, so I have had many years to try to figure this music thing out.... P.S. not an unbiased observer....I play as my #1 is my Blonde Tele Thinline....lives in the front of the rack, before the others....as seen on KZfaq....... Thanks, guys!

Whew, Joe & Daryl are so handsome here, Funk #49 is a great song, believe it’s the 1st one I heard from the James Gang. Am so used to seeing Joe wearing a bandana, his signature look. The grounds/scenery here is just gorgous, will always love the music we grew up with. Thank you Daryl, for presenting-preserving these legacies, wish I lived closer to visit. Peace Everyone 💖

Daryl has one of the tightest bands I've even seen. What they don't show us is how hard they work when learning and rehearsing every new song. I'll bet there was a couple of hours of learning experience before they got it down for this five or six minutes of flawless performance.

. I miss these. It was the last days of me watching TV I happened on a show that ran after SNL, and it took me a few moments to realize who it was: Daryl at Todd Rundgren's house in Hawaii. I then looked it up on the Web, and was rewarded. "It's over, man" (Joe)
