I want to clarify a few things here because this scene from the Spinoff The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is receiving extremely unnecessary hate.
It was already explained a long time ago that it is not the bite that turns a human into a Walker, in the second season of The Walking Dead, Rick Grimes discovers this. No matter how someone ends up dying, they will transform anyway, a Walker's bite will only cause an infection that will speed up the process, depending on the person who was infected it could be faster or slower.
All the answers about The Walking Dead's infection have already been answered in the main series. The Spinoff: Fear The Walking Dead talks about the infection and the "bites" too. So Daryl Dixon's series doesn't "break" or disrespect anything that was established in the universe of The Walking Dead, just new ideas.

Honestly that axe was one of the best zombie-killing weapons in the series. A point for stabbing and a wide blade for removing limbs.

and to heavy for long fights unless you are Conan the Barbar... Spear or Naginata would be the best with a Shortsword. THats what i hate about this show most. they use the dumbest weapons expect some less like the Katana or Staff.

@@alfredocalzoni8161 i think spear and naginata is too long and its two handed too, making them the worst weapon when ur outnumbered by walker or when a walker ambush u so close

@@faxify453 for close Ambush you got the Shortsword/ Dagger. maybe a thorn on your underarm armor (one of the most importent place for this world) outnumbered is not the problem. But when you are surrounded then you failed something. AND you can use a short Spear. maybe a bowie with a long Stick. If you are trained you can stab 2-3 Walker per Second. and spear is one of the easiest Weapon to learn - look at war history. The worst weapon is axe (double axe) or NO weapon... Axe would stuck in every second walker. so use a tomahawk... there is a BIG reason for this model of an axe.

I gave up on walking dead long ago. It always looked like they shot it in low quality, but this looks like the production went hell up. I might check this one out.

I don't think The Walking Dead was bad in the past, but it is a fact that today the productions are of high quality, the budget has increased a lot in the latest productions. If you have watched The Walking Dead at least up to season 9, watch the new series called The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which tells what happened to Rick Grimes. However, I recommend that you finish watching the entire series before watching these new Spinoffs. I really recommend that you watch The Walking Dead universe again, it's better than ever. Sorry for my English, it's not my main language :)

Some call them Super Zombies, they are a Mutation of the Virus (to this day we don't know if it is a Virus) Wildfire, and they are faster, stronger and more resistant than a conventional Zombie, in addition to having the acidic blood of a Burner.

until now it seems like bites & death are the only thing that can makes you turn, if it looks too much like "Daryl might be infected", they'd scrap it and reshoot the scene, since the show would love to keep Daryl alive lol

C'mon bro this was settled a long time ago. When walker blood gets inside you you don't die or get infected. Everybody is already infected but there is something in walkers' teeth that triggers the reaction faster
