@@Jnessification well ok yes but were there any in this video that were required to? I don't remmeber seeing any. There was one instance where a car was trying toi push in but since lane lines continued all the way to the end of the lane it is the vehicle changing lanes that is required to give way. So the car that went off road was required to give way but too up themselves to go behind the truck.

You're not a cyclist if you haven't yelled at someone. I did just today.
@wrathofbabushka84753 жыл бұрын
Cyclist stupidity is just as amazing. How many of them ride near the center of the road going far under the speed limit is astonishing, especially when there are paths nearby, but they get angry if you don't give them 'space' on the road, even when you can't without putting others at risk. Not all cyclists do this, but in my experience it's the vast majority. Just the other day I had to get a cab, this exact thing happened, there was no room to move to the side so the driver just kept going as the other cars were, mind you, the distance from us to the cyclist was no less than the distance from us to the car beside us. Meanwhile the cyclist randomly starts yelling their head off at us as we pass, like were the ones who shouldn't be on the road. I mean I assume thats what he was yelling about, you can't hear shit when you are in the car going the speed limit because they're already ages behind you when you pass them. I wouldn't have an issue with it if they just stuck to the side of the road and gave enough room for cars to actually safely go around them. But again, it just isn't what you see on the roads.

Nah, we're on the other side of the world so we need to do the opposite! The correct Australian way is to close your eyes, frantically slam your brakes on, and over-correct the car. Bonus points if you have bald tires or tires that arent appropriate for winter conditions. :D

Sadly I doubt it would help. There's a similar roundabout near my house where the left lane does only go left with no option to go forward, but people still cut into the right lane at the last second when they realize they're stuck in the wrong lane. Lots of accidents caused because people are too impatient to spend a few extra minutes turning left then doing a u-turn back to the roundabout.

If you can't be trusted to do it right you shouldn't have your licence. The solution isn't to continuously gimp all the roads, the moron behind the wheel is the problem. They're just going to go and kill someone the next day if you don't get them off the roads.
