Wrong. Honking at someone achieves nothing. The horn is there to alert to danger. Misuse of the horn is more annoying than people who make a mistake. Like at 16:52, honking at this person only to have to stop 10m later coz of traffic. What did you achieve?
@xDynamiteDogx4 күн бұрын
@@SahilM18 Honking should be able to advise people that they did something wrong, that there was in fact a danger present that was avoided, and to be alert for it. I say should, because horns are used quite liberally, and people take significant offence when they find out they're not the NASCAR driver they thought they were.
@SahilM184 күн бұрын

All because I decided to give enough space. It was close though. I was stopping to be about emetres from the car in front and the car behind me was too close behind me so I had to complete my stop less than a metre from the car in front. What's worse (or better) is that every car in the pileup was a late model vehicle including a merc and a lexus, while my car was a 1991 toyota corolla with 500,000 km that I bought for $1200. It's another week of "let point out what the DCers did wrong / could have done better despite the other driver (even if the other driver was worse)": 0:41 - I was originally going to ignore this, but getting out of your car in anger without making sure the situation was as safe as it could be is never a good idea. Also possibly could have avoided if they assumed the other driver might pull out (as they did). 1:13 - Don't really mind the *initial* horn use here too much, but just let these idiots in. Continually reprimanding them only made things worse in the end. 3:57 - If you can't stop in time you're too close. 7:06 - Bus driver could/should have done better. 12:04 - Guessing you used the horn? Now you have to deal with psycho dog man. Don't bother reprimanding people on the road. 13:08 - Why are you driving in the vans blind spot? Also too close to the car in front. Just back off. 13:23 - IMHO you didn't have the pedestrians safety in mind at all. Do better. 13:58 - I repeat: continually reprimanding them only made things worse in the end. 18:20 - I mean... it kinda looks like you did speed up a bit. Why? That didn't make the situation safer.
