First clip - two cars were ALREADY IN THE INTERSECTION when they stopped for the emergency vehicles. LET THE CARS IN THE INTERSECTION GO!! Don't be arseholes!! They entered the intersection while they had a green light, THAT'S THE LAW (at least in Queensland).

You can run red lights by staying in the green lanes, the red light cams wont get you, for instance in this clip if the intersection was empty the driver could enter in the straight GREEN lane then turn mid intersection and be completely fine. This is what i thought happened but no that was infact a redlight cam flash as they were half in the turninglane side when entering the intersection.

Yes. You still have to wait for the intersection to clear before you go when it's green. Especially if 300 police cars just went past with lights and sirens. Either those people are completely blind or they need to go sit the learners test again.

Yes, too many people just see "Green = Go" and are completely oblivious as to what the actual laws are. DC had right of way to clear the intersection before the other cars could go. Same for the grey sedan next to DC.

@@CraigTaylor yeah. The Falcon driver didn't check his mirror, but given that both drivers wanted to leave a banked up lane quickly, the cammer could've let that pass. It happens all the time in peak hour traffic. As long as people indicate and you can see what's happening 🤷

10:53 - Tech Note Only - if you get a dashcam and it's sharp on close items and soft on far away, try gently rotating the M12 threaded lens clockwise (inwards on the thread) to get better focus on items further away. If it gets worse, rotate it the other way. Same goes with Action Cameras - rotating the lens outwards can turn them in to a great Macro camera.

That only applies to NSW and VIC. The rest allow you to ride across, although some impose speed limits and few other variations, but the key part is you _can_ ride across them.

2:18 prime DH is the DC for not expecting someone else to do the same thing, then cracking a spaz because of it 5:54 light was yellow for the entire clip, so safe to assume it turned yellow milliseconds before it starts. Still has zero bearing on the driver who failed to give way from the slip lane.

Need to cler the intersection before he lights change which didn't happen and almost caused an accident. Meant to be saving lives but they clearly put several into danger right here.

the Tram at 3:58 probably got a T light which only shows up for a few second before the light changes as long as the tram left when the T light shows up its allowed to clear the intersection and because they are long vehicles and the cars in front arnt moving fast due to the other tram it isnt able to fully clear the intersection, before the light changed, still the tram did nothing wrong they gotta keep moving otherwise they block more then just the intersection for a few second

So I took a look at the footage and have determined that the driver was not on their phone. Firstly, they have their head high up, and they are looking straight, probably to avoid the glare. If they were on their phone, they would have to be looking down to see it. And secondly, you can see when he moves his hand that there is no phone, he reaches for the handbrake.

I was the DC driver. I cut it down to around a 1:30 clip, ADC trimmed it further. They hit the kerb at least 3 times, aimed for traffic lights several times, and weaved into traffic several times. Cops were called after they aimed at the first set of lights after weaving into traffic, but no idea if they ever caught up with them.

Lane filtering, legal, lane filtering at 95 kmh, definitely illegal, maximum speed for lane filtering is 30 kmh, doing it past two Police vehicles definitely stupid considering that all Police vehicles have dashcam systems, my guess is that the rider would have gotten a visit from or pulled over by some of their associates a little later that evening perhaps?

Geeze a 23 minute upload and it felt like I watched 20 minutes of police cars with the first clip 😂😂 That second one at the Alfred Hospital really annoyed me. Hubby spent a month in hospital late last year and the amount of times the taxis did this was astounding, they would just pull out and do a uturn right there.
