I have a West Bend Stir Crazy popper (nearly identical machine) and I use liquid coconut oil and Flavacol (Amazon has it in a cardboard container that looks like a carton of milk) and that gets me nearly identical to movie theater flavored popcorn. ALSO, try shutting the switch off and on mid-cycle and your rotation bar might reverse directions - that helps coat each kernel of corn in oil better. By the way-- Great video!!

This is so pure!!! These two are literally adorable! Also, I love any popcorn stirrer as opposed to any “hot air” popper and I picked this one up because of the mint color and nostalgia as a latchkey kid

Nutritional yeast is very good, with butter and salt of course.

So far i don't like the popcorn i made in the above machine, but i will try again. I like microwaving popcorn better, it is fluffier. Not in the pre packaged bags, but in a very large pyrex cup, with a paper plate and weighted down with something, or in the microwave container that is made for specifically making popcorn in the microwave. Micropop is the name brand of the container I believe I used for popping popcorn in the microwave. This mashine above (Dash with the whirly metal bar), and one other like it i have tried in the past, the popcorn comes out smaller and chewier than microwaving it. That is my review. ps Someone i know uses the pyrex very large measuring cup. They put about a tablespoon and a half of butter( to taste) and a teaspoon of salt 🤤 in the bottom of the pyrex cup and a third of a cup of Orville Redenbacher's popcorn. The popcorn comes out great.

I have it and for me this is the best popcorn maker also it doesnt fly away and it doesnt make a mess .it is very easy to clean. I only use two drops of vegetable oíl and thts it to make a delicious popcorn "palomitas de maiz"

I slice my butter thinly and stir it while the popcorn is popping. It does completely melt. This is way better than the tasteless air poppers, that send hot kernels flying everywhere! 😬 Thanks for your review, and your kitchen is gorgeous!

As far as the kid is concerned each section is 2 qt if u do all three sec u will get 6qt but I didn’t get a lid either so this must be used my box came all open

If you melt the butter beforehand heat it long enough to cook the water out or it might make it soggy. 🤢

Just tried out my popcorn popper. I am disappointed. The popcorn was cold within seconds of popping. Not being able to remove the stirring bar makes it difficult to clean after use. Also there was no large lid included in the box.

12:19 Lol You said it yourself that the measuring cup says 2 qts, 4 qts, and 6 qts. Each triangle makes 2 qts (8 cups)! they're all the same, but they add up to 6 qts (24 cups/the capacity of the maker) when you fill them all!

I'm thinking of getting this instead of an air popper. , They have those tiny frying pans to melt butter.

Got a dash air popper today. Horrible design. Popcorn falls out all around the popper. It's not all funneled to the bowl. Returning it and ordered the Presto air popper.

Maybe you should read the directions.
