Did anybody tell you it IS Momoko yet? 🤣😁😉 She is the only remaining Avenger and has done the last nearly 30 concerts since 2020 (and whether she will be the new third member - we just don't know ... oh, apparently it is her 20th birthday today - 3rd March - as well, so happy birthday Momoko). Yes, this was from the same concerts as the 'Metal Kingdom' video - again the only concerts they've played in nearly 2 years. This is definitely a song that leans a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale, further than most I'd say. However, this was the studio audio and I have read the live version is ... different. We can only wait for the DVD to hear the live audio and see how much it differs of course. I feel this album, concept aside, is highlighting Su-metal's vocals more than anything and possibly more than has been the case in the previous albums - they each had maybe three or four songs that really did that, this one so far every song has done it.

Especially coming new album, a "concept album", must have an underlying story to be told whether explicitly or implicitly and 10 songs therein must tell us 10 different chapters in the story. As an eyewitness at the venue, I guarantee that the live audio with Kami Band has more power and heaviness to stir your feelings. I assume Amuse is currently releasing MVs with live footage + studio sound, in other words "imperfect live video", on purpose, because they have to block their "real live videos" by copyright strike in order to sell them in a form of Blu-ray/DVD. After some two-year long hiatus, this is a good tool to remind people of the attractiveness of BABYMETAL and gain new fans, I believe. High and low undulation of Su's voice with maturity and sharp moves by Moa and Momoko disordered my emotions 😱. Although I was too mesmerized to digest everything at the live debut, I finally grasped its artistry as a whole by this MV. I am looking forward to seeing the live performance of this song again in two-day shows on April 1/2, yes I have the tickets ヽ(^o^)丿

This was indeed at the same concert where Metal Kingdom was filmed. This was at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Tokyo on the 28th and 29th of January. Like Metal Kingdom, this is the studio audio over the live concert video; the live version was heavier with the guitars more forward in the mix, so it had a slightly different vibe. That was Momoko performing as Avenger. As of now, she is the only currently active Avenger, and has been the only Avenger for the last 27 concerts; Kano is busy with her j-pop group @onefive, and Riho is contracted as a solo artist with another talent agency.

The Avenger is indeed Momoko. She has been the only one of the three performing for some time now, probably because the other two have their own projects. I'll be really surprised if she won't become the new third member. I didn't notice it until someone mentioned it, but if you pay attention to the synchronicity between Moa and Momoko in this video, it's stunningly perfect. I'm tempted to say even more so than back in Yui's era.

Absolutely 👍 👍 It is of course Momoko and in my opinion she should be awarded the Royal Headset Microphone as the third member. She has paid her dues and deserves it. Plus she is a first rate dancer and is a great match with Moa.

How many people were holding their breath, as Su's note went higher and higher, and waiting for the beat to drop?... I didn't start breathing again until the instruments kicked back in. Seriously, i think Babymetal has been taking lessons from edm tracks on when to drop the beat.... not that many bands, especially metal, is so good at building up that anticipation before dropping the beat, no one does it as well as Babymetal. Wished Moa's vocal bit was a bit more though, it sound so good. Love how these new songs all are giving Su a lot opportunity to flex her vocal skills...😄😄😄🤘🦊🤘

This album is a little different because it is THE OTER ONE's BABYMETAL that has lived in a different world than the BABYMETAL we know. When will they come back to our world to replace the one they live in the mirror world, and which BABYMETAL will they be in April? I'm looking forward to it😁.

I love this softer sound! Their sound is really maturing I believe. They can't do double drumming with crazy guitars constantly all the time.. and this shows they can do slower and pretty too! Interesting thing is folks say the live version was much harder and had no club beats??? I wonder what that's about. It's exciting!

I can see how you can think it is not Momoko at first glance. Perhaps for her different make up at this show. But one small hint is that Momoko is the slightly taller one. I think she is slightly taller than Su. 🍑

While they may be talented...it's just not metal to me. It's pop, with a metal paint job. And I'm not a fan of my favorite musical style being used as a gimmick. To each their own, though.
