The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French multirole, single-engine fourth-generation jet fighter manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was designed in the late 1970s as a lightweight fighter to replace the Mirage III for the French Air Force. The Mirage 2000 evolved into a multirole aircraft with several variants developed, with sales to a number of nations. It was later developed into the Mirage 2000N and 2000D strike variants, the improved Mirage 2000-5 and several export variants. Over 600 aircraft were built and it has been in service with nine nations.

Great presentation! For more than 15 years I was watching with one way or another this beautiful and powerful in dogfights Jet , My city is near the base of Hellenic Mirages and so far I saw F.1 M2000 M 2000-5 and soon Rafale

Mirage 2000, f 16 viper block 72 and gripen ng are the best single engine mach 2 figther jets with positive combat record... like all 3 very good... cheap and effective...

Mirage 2000 with 2 guns 30 mlm plus meteor missiles and mica missiles... mach 2 jet it can kill su 35 or j 10 jets just needs hmds and aesa radar...

Another one being brainwashed by the US/UK anti-French propaganda after France refused to follow them in the stupid 2nd Iraki War. This was by the way the best decision ever made by a French government in the 21st century, especially when you see the money they wasted, the mess they created, the people they killed or tortured and all the consequences (Al Qaida and ISIS rising, the mess in the Middle East, the Iranian involvment). And real historians know that French armies never showed cowardice, even in 1940. But bad leadership, bad strategies and lack of strategic weapons led the country to defeat. whether you like it or not, France has the greatest military forces in Europe (Russia excluded). So, keep your white flag for your own country
