As someone who has seen the Rock in person he sure as heck is not 6'5". He is closer to 6'2". He'll usually wear massive boots that gives him a 3" advantage but catch him in regular dress shoes with a 1" heel he's 6'2 barefoot. I can probably give him 6'2.5". I've seen basketball players who are 6'5" and they are noticeably taller than what I saw from the Rock, even from a distance.

You are so right. I saw him next to Anthony Joshua who is 6'6" and the Rock was dwarfed by 3 or 4 inches. The other person that is not as tall as the are listed id Arnold Schwarzenegger. I am 6'2" and I have to duck my head to get on a plane and in the movie Commando Arnold walks on the plane standing straight up with out his running the risk of hitting the entrance.

He was 6'4" but as he's aged, along with being as muscular as he is, i think that he shrunk almost 2 inches, because the height difference between him and Ryan Reynolds-who is 6'2" are not the different. He barely looks like he's an inch taller

George Clooney is actually closer to 5'11". Aaron Eckhart is 5'10". Leonardo DiCaprio is 5'11". Denzel Washington is 6'0" or a little above that. Tom Hiddleston is actually closer to 6'2". Will Smith is more likely 6'1". Jim Carrey is closer to 6'1". Arnold Schwarzenegger was only 6'0.5" in his prime. Hugh Jackman is 6'2". Dave Batista is more likely 6'3". Dwayne Johnson was only 6'3" in his prime. Lots of inaccuracies in this video. Helps to do research, you know.

Stillvestor Stillone is a solid 5' 4". There is a Y/T video of him on vacation, on a yacht, swim trunks, no socks or shoes or shirt. He is a very small man with a small under developed lower body (skinny legs and feet). In his prime movie making days, he focused mainly on his upper body. I would love to have his bank balance. The guy is a bazzillionaire.

An inch is actually 2.54 cent. The difference is negligible until you're dealing with over 100 centimeters.I bet they used 2.5 centimeters per inch here.

Actually, the stats show that the ideal height for a man according to most western women when polled, was actually 5 '11". They consider 6' 0" and above as too tall. Women are funny about proportions on men and especially bandy legs, which tends to happen from 6' 0" and above. Men between 5'10" and 5' 11" tend to have broader shoulders and better proportioned arms and legs. Men's ideal height for women was apparently 5 ' 5", but they were less fussed if they were taller.

@@Melinda8162 The people with height fetishes are generally those at the extreme end of the spectrum, whether that be the tallest end or the shortest end. Particularly short women have a fear of offspring also being short, so tend to naturally look for over the top men in height to compensate, which genetically makes sense. It's a societal/cultural belief that the taller you are is the better life chances you have - which isn't actually supported by any evidence, but alot of people still swear by. Women who were always super tall are actually the opposite - they are very self conscious about their height and have a shorter man fetish. Generally, if any woman wants a tall kid and she is above average height herself, she is guaranteed a tall boy no matter what, as boys always outgrow their mothers. A tall woman can mate with a short man and still have a tall son. Men are less bothered about the height of women generally, but I'm the exception, I don't like overly short women, I like them at 5 '7" - 5' 8", that's the perfect height for me in terms of proportions, leg length and often feet quality, they often have the perfect foot structure with nice long toes.

Some actors recorded as exactly same height in centimeters are tagged as a different height in inches e.g. George Clooney is in a largish group of 180cm actors. All the others both left & right of him have 5'11" as the imperial height but George's 180cms is only equivalent to 5'10". There are a number of actors where this occurs, one of 6 or so people of the same metric height is not the same imperial height. It's maths, it should be logical. It's not a typo as the 1 is a long way away from the 0 on the keyboard. The odd cases are all marked lower than their group, not higher. Perplexing.

It’s difficult to be sure of height people tend to fudge their actual height not only celebrities. You can tell more when they stand next to others but you also have to consider heels and lifts when making an estimated guess. Hugh Jackmam is one of the few I think is obviously tall .

That's incorrect. 177cm is 69.68 inches and therefore is slightly over 5'9", but well under 5"10" (approx 178cm).

In the wwe they had the rock built up at six four or six five but in a interview the rock himself said he was six three...same with Batista but In his MMA fights they had him at six three I believe. ...some of these on this list was accurate but there was a small percentage was off ...I think Jack Nicholson is a lil taller than what they listed him as ...I'm sure he was closer to five ten or five eleven.
