This is incredible. Stuff like this just wasn't ever possible in things like Xamarin Forms.... I'm always impressed by how Flutter solves common issues with such elegance.

Thank you for flutter! How do I implement server side pagination on flutter? Load page 1 data on load. On click on next, load page 2 data. And so on? Please help! It's urgent. For now, I can only load entire data upfront and watch it divide into separate pages automatically.

Is there OOB solution for a DataTable that lazy builds columns/rows. I have a table that has a very large amount of data in the horizontal and vertical direction that I dont want to build all at once. Can the flutter team please work on something like this with sticky headers and sticky initial columns.

If DataTable can do fixed header or number of row on top, and index of column cannot scroll like 1, and the last is fixed. Then percent.

So it's not that useful after all still using ionic 4, As all native simulations platforms like react-native or flutter have some limitations, Except for web ( WebView ) actually I can do all I want as a layout and for the performance issue limit it decreased with time as phones get much better now, so a phone 150$ can run pubg.

Anything on the server is outside the scope of any Flutter widget. You'll need to your state management solution to stand between your server and your widgets and translate everything as needed!

It's a nightmare using this widget. You cannot merge cells. Transposing the the table is a pain. Its only using for absolutely basic stuff

You're lying. TableRow is not a widget.

I think they mean every displayed element is a widget, in the video itself it corrects and says "every cell is a widget", which is true. Row decorations aren't widgets either, or strings, and all that; but everything that results in a RenderObject is a widget

@@broooth No, but they produce elements that the library composes, optionally with children. Seems quite baffling that the library doesn't produce one for TableRow and instead decides to just read its props directly, but oh well
