My comment is for all the Singlsih people in Sri Lanka. Don't make fun out of Piumi since she cannot speak English. This is Sri Lanka, and our mother tongue is Sinhala. I am really impressed with how she speaks in Sinhala at an English show, and I really admire her courage. People are so worried about why she is here if she cannot speak English. That's Hi Crew's call, not hers. Thanks to Piumi, heaps of people are gonna know about this channel also. In every family, someone has sacrificed to give us a quality life or a good education....it might be our parents, grandparents or great grandparents. Piumi is doing her best to give her son a quality life, which she hasn't had. I don't know about her private life, but please don't always judge people unless you are perfect in every way.

Today's programme is not just an ordinary one but a great work which reduces the sri lankan stereotypical idea that everyone must know English. Danu has already justified himself as a formidable personality in our country. So guys lets admire our mother tongues Sinhalese and Tamil❤️.

I have never commented on any of your Date with Dhanu videos. However I thought of commenting on this because this interview was extremely good! Politics aside, Ranjan Ramanyaka is one of the greatest human beings. I adore his personality! I salute Piyumi Hansamali for breaking the language barrier and speaking in Sinhala. People should know that English is just another foreign language. After this interview I got to know a good side of Piyumi and I feel that she is a great woman and a mum. Thank you Dhanu for this awesome interview.

This is why the production quality and who conducts the program matters..Most of the programs, mostly 'youtubers' used Piyumi as a way to ignite the audience and show only the negative side and what can be marketed for the mass.. Danu did a great job and Piyumi, no matter what she does and her past and present, never forget she too is human and have her share of flaws like all of us do.
