I got married at 19 only 3 months after my husband and I met... now 12 years later God is involved. Side note a few months into marriage I had a miscarriage then surgery and was prescribed pain pills then he was injured on the job and had surgery and was prescribed pain pills then I had another surgery and more pain pills. We didn't stand a chance. We spent 11 years in active addiction and to be honest I was ready to die I begged for it instead God dropped me on my knees and he brought me back from it all and has been working in me and my husband. God bless y'all!

You’re right, but if you do exactly what this man says and take control of yourself and yourself only, you might be surprised at all of the wonderful things you receive in return. And if it keeps taking you to a dead end? You tried and have nothing to feel guilty or regretful over. When I say “you”, I mean collectively. You may not even be married for all I know. So “you” is anyone, including myself. I think his standpoint is not to single a man out and proclaim marital issues to be all a man’s fault, but coming from the perspective that men are the leaders of their house.

@@JohnSmith-zo6ir No! I bring all I can to the party. I know a lot of women now want it all one-sided. For 25 years I was a homeschooling Trad Wife. Now that the kids are done with school, I am back to working in an office to help with finances. The point I was trying to make is that many men seem confused by women's needs. This short video seems very helpful to men. Men, it seems to me, mostly want respect.

Every relationship is a game. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been together for five minutes or 50 years. What I do is I gauge how much affection and attention my partner is giving me, and then I mimic it but then bring it back just a little bit so that she’s always chasing me, but yet I’m still giving her attention and making her feel special. Be a man!

Yes date her, but if u don’t it doesn’t give the wife a reason to “date” someone else. This is not the right perspective. Women, when they hear this think that if my husband doesn’t date me, it’s OK for me to date somebody else. Be committed to the marriage not the spouse. Wake up Mark

Exactly. This guy loses credibility every time he opens his mouth. He is a male feminist of the worse kind, because he is teaching men to be submissive to their wives and pander to their needs. The typical male feminist who follows the "happy wife, happy life" mantra, the very principle of which is self-serving narcissism. Totally not scriptural. Just to catch you up on scriptures Mark, here it is: Ephesians 5:22-33 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Intimacy starts with small actions from both partners the minute you wake up. Acts of love are ongoing expressions of love, respect and gratitude, not "date nights". Rituals stopped with the New Testament and the crucifixion. Mark, you sound more like a man made self-help book by the day and it's nauseating to listen to. Get back to the scriptures and the narrow road with the narrow gate.

That's not what hes suggesting that if the husband doesn't date his wife that she has permission to date someone else. Essentially, if a husband doesn't date his wife over the course of time, she will be tempted and more likely to fall into temptation because of the loneliness and isolation that the husband has placed her in, that is a very difficult place to be as a wife. If the wife has communicated like she's supposed to, but he keeps on neglecting her and doing things his way, and not god's way that is a sure way for the enemy to come in and sweep the wife off her feet. She may be completely for the marriage but also completely lonely. Even if she is following God, she's still only human and temptation can feel like a pressure cooker when the husband isn't doing what hes supposed to be doing.
@user-zv2gx9tf8r
@user-zv2gx9tf8r 10 ай бұрын
@@QuiverofArrows first off that's exactly what he said because that's how even you interpreted it, "She's gonna be more likely to cheat, more tempted". As a man of the bible he should be teaching men and women both to continue dating after marriage, but if one of the other doesn't, you don't cheat, you ignore the temptations, and you stay the course. Everything he taught in this clip is biblically incorrect and not backed up by the bible. This is one of the many reasons why guys my age and younger are avoiding the church, if the same thing were suggested about men eventually being tempted to cheat because of nasty wives, there'd be a huge uproar among the "Christian" women. But say the same about women and it's, "Thanks for the excuse pastor".
@QuiverofArrows
@QuiverofArrows 10 ай бұрын
Most men would interpret that as... its ok to be nasty to your wife, she just needs to take it because that is the Godly thing to do. but neither is ok. point blank. the Enemy is still alive and well and is looking For those who he can devour. If you're not guarding your marriage, whether you be the husband or the wife, you're putting your spouse and your marriage in a dangerous situation. Because we are also still flesh And can still fall into temptation. That's why it's best For the husband and wife to guard their marriage, not just one or the other. Unfortunately, in today's day in age Its usually only one or the other. And then when the marriage fails Everybody is Standing around, blaming each other instead of looking at themselves. God should have been first in the husbands life and God should have been first in the wifes life. if that was so then they would both be able to fight off any temptation that may come there way. we also have to remember we live in a fallen world and are not perfect and we are constantly sinning everyday thats why we need Christ. that doesnt mean that the sins we commit do to falling into temptation is condoned thats where repentance needs to take place and turning way from what was done needs to happen. We are all still going through the sanctification process..those that are saved. These types of things can be complicated. I'm sorry about whatever happened that made you walk away from the church. I hope that one day you will find a good Bible teaching church that will bless your life.

This is good advice if the women are also being taught to respond to and respect the effort he is making. Some women act as if they are never satisfied. Or they let their fears ruin the emotional capital the husband is trying to build up in the relationships. At some point it is in fact wise to stop “dating” your wife if she refuses to respect and appreciate her husband in a meaningful way. Some women don’t catch on to this unless you permit some consequences for their misbehavior from time to time. Unbiblical hyper-chivalry can lead to a drastic reduction in respect from wives. Seen it way too many times.

Yes, make your wife #1. But you should be a good provider too, so your job is #1. But your relationship to God is most important so He is #1. But love, mentor, and train your kids, so they are #1. But be sure to take care of yourself, otherwise you will have nothing to give. And if anyone, wife, boss, kids are not happy it is your fault and they have every right to leave you, fire you or hate you. Happy wife, happy life.

Sounds like you need some healing. Im not saying that in a bad way. It sounds like he took pieces(heart) of you and you still got pieces (demons) of him. You need to give it all to God. Cleanse yourself, be free. Free as in if he pops up in your head, it doesn't take your peace. I know it's hard but forgiveness of that person is basically you're way too good to let someone like that interrupt your inner peace. Praying for you soo that you don't think about him and when you do the thought quickly goes away because its not worth your emotions to sot there and fall down that rabbithole

Show God's power in your life by being led by the Spirit then you will cover her and the family from the unclean spirits which lead to temptation. The praying father husband with fasting will protect the marriage. Get rid of unclean entertainment...full of fornication and adultery. Get rid of the heart for this world... then God will protect the family and heritage. Then with that foundation... love your wife like Christ loves the church.
